Hi Jagger,
I was wondering if you could forward the below casting breakdown to your list for me. My fiancee is a member of your group and recommended that I get in touch.
Michael DiBiasio
Seeking Male Actors for Sex and Justice, A Crime Drama
Low-budget short-form film project looking to fill one lead role and one supporting role for a June weekend shoot. Must be available in May for meetings and rehearsals. Both roles are paying. Open to Union/Non-Union talent.
Must be willing to travel out of state (New England). Travel expenses will be covered. Accommodations provided for weekend overnights, meals provided during shooting.
Character Descriptions:
NORMAN TURNER, lead role, 40s, a smug, corrupt district attorney seeking the truth behind his best friend's murder. Turner is clean-cut, somewhat sinister and slightly handsome.
ROBERT BRYANT, aka "The Texan," supporting role, 30s, a tall, young, lanky detective whose partner left him "out of the loop" in pursuing and arresting a high-profile suspect. Bryant is laid-back, and has a dry, self-deprecating sense of humor but he is also serious about his job and dedicated to serving justice.
If interested, please send head shot, resume and some information about yourself to casting@sexandjustice.com . Links to online reels are welcome, but not required

Theatreworks/USA, Americas largest theatre for young and family audiences, seeks performers for the 2008-09 national tour of SEUSSICAL. All actors will be signed on as Assistant Stage Managers.
Singers: Be prepared to sing 16 bars of contemporary musical theatre song or something from SEUSSICAL, come with music in the correct key. Piano accompaniment will be provided. Sides will be provided at the audition.
ALL CHARACTERS MUST BE STRONG SINGERS & DANCERS
This is a shortened TYA version of the Broadway musical SEUSSICAL. All MUST be versatile singer/actor/dancers with comedic flair. Also must be able to carry tight harmonies.
All characters begin as Schoolyard Kids. They are archetypical middle-schoolers. They become animals through imagination rather than prosthetics. Age-Range: 19-25, but read younger.
SEEKING:
CAT IN THE HAT (Male or Female) Extremely hip. Impish, mischievous, a tongue-in-cheek quality, a sense of irony, anarchy and mockery. The Cat is a force of good, of humor, of wit, adventure and magic and anarchy! Must be great with creating a variety of characters and accents. Extremely good physical comic.
HORTON THE ELEPHANT (Stocky Male. Bari-tenor.) Simple, sincere, somewhat out of place in a hip, cynical world. Hes sincere, earnest, heroic and true to himself.
GERTRUDE (Female. Soprano with mix/belt.) She is insecure. She feels she isnt good enough, pretty enough, talented enough. She is shy. She is awkward. Shes in love with Horton. Requires great physical-comic skills.
MAYZIE (Sexy, Female. Soprano with mix/belt.) Mayzie is selfish and self-centered, and charming. A Teen-Pop Princess. Bosses the Bird Girls around. Knows how to use her femininity to get what she wants.
SOUR KANGAROO (African-American woman. Soprano with mix/belt.) Very Bossy. A Know-It-All. Sassy and Lively. She travels everywhere with her stuffed kangaroo.
WICKERSHAM BROTHERS (Asian, Latino, African-American, Caucasian, etc. Bari-tenor.) They are middle school tough guys who get pleasure out of teasing and tricks, but who would never do anything truly bad. They are gleefully mischievous.
BIRD GIRLS (Asian, Latino, African-American, Caucasian, etc. Soprano with mix/belt.) Sassy Gal pals who love looking pretty, strutting their stuff, hanging out with that cool Mayzie.
MR. AND MRS. MAYOR (Doubling from Wickersham & Bird Girl) Real, decent Americans who have read just a little too much Dr. Spock. They need a facility for creating a strong character while retaining their humanity. Must have versatile character abilities.
JOJO (A small young man who can play a child. Tenor.) An urban kid with an unbridled imagination that enables him to solve problems, find his way, and ultimately save the world. Honest. A little bit mischievous. A dreamer.

"Make It So"
A new 2-Act Dramatic Play.
The Little Rascals Theatre Company will be holding auditions on Sunday, April 6 at 4:00pm to 6:00pm. The location is 520 8th Avenue in the Ripley Greer Studio Spaces.
"Make It So" is a dramedy that chronicles the complex relationships that develop between estranged adult half-brothers and sisters, as well as with a domineering older mother figure. It is based in the South.
Seeking strong, professional actors (Preferably Equity) who can manage aloofness to visceral honesty. Excellent comic timing and good physical condition a plus.
CHARACTERS:
BERTHA MORGAN - Surviving matriarch of the Morgan family, a blustery and
imposing woman in her sixties. Prefer a larger actress for this role.
African American, middle upper class from Memphis, TN. (Note: Actress need not actually be in her 60s but can convincingly portray that affect.)
LESTER MORGAN - Bertha's stepson. Tall and elegantly attired. His
intelligence and gentle nature have awarded him a successful life in New
York, far from the shackles of a tumultuous childhood. African
American, in his early 40s.
JUSTIN MORGAN - Bertha's biological son, Lester's half brother. He is
36 years old, yet has the testosterone of a 16 year old. He has several
likable, playful attributes, however, and is ultimately supportive of
his family. African American, a gambler without substantial employment.
A plus if actor can play guitar.
TONY MORGAN - Actor needs to depict Billie Holiday and sing one song.
Lester's younger brother and Bertha's stepson and also a half brother to Justin. African American in his late 30s, like
Lester, escaped from his family's adversity at an early age. His first
scene features him in professional drag with his boyfriend, meeting his
half brother's pleas for family support with dismissive flippancy, but
later climactic moments reveal depth and profound caring for his family.
CHARLOTTE MORGAN - Bertha's biological daughter. She is 34. Perhaps
because of her mother's need to be the center of all attention,
Charlotte has carved her niche as the family caretaker. Her strength is
evident in assisting her brothers tune out the overwhelming Bertha.
JASMINE CROTHERS - A home care nurse and Lester's love interest. Though
demure when at work, she is outgoing and sensual when at play.
Caucasian, mid-30s.
BELINDA CARMICHAEL - Justin's new girlfriend. She is in her mid-30s,
African American. Her sexy exploits add much to the comedy of the play.
TYLER EDENFIELD - A bar employee and Tony's love interest. He is in his
mid-20s, down to earth and supportive of Tony's career. Caucasian.
OPENS: Mid June @ Theatre For a New City. The play will run for four(4) weeks and ends in mid July. Please submit a headshot and resume to the following email address, in addition to bringing a printed one to the audition. Arrive no more than ten minutes before your scheduled audition time slot. If auditioning for the role of TONY, please prepare a song to sing accapella. Sides will be provided.
Please submit an email detailing whether you will be available for this audition to HermesGod@aol.com . If you have a telephone number that you can be reached then also leave it, as well.
Actor stipend to be included.

Your classes are easily the most fun and the most worthwhile acting lessons I've
ever taken! The price of course is phenomenal - but really irrelevant. Above all
else, the classes are both fun and valuable- a powerful combination! Your
unbelievable level of energy- coupled with your perceptive and valuable
observations and constructive feedback- tough, necessary but also nurturing-
contribute to an atmosphere of learning which just blows away the competition.
Other acting classes I've taken were relatively boring, usually with just a
minimum time to perform - 5 minutes in a 3 hour class? - and were long on
theory, short on execution. (Sometimes there was ALL theory and virtually little
time devoted to actually acting.) In your classes we roll up our sleeves and get
right to work learning how to become a character and tell the story, there is a
maximum time for everyone to perform, which is great!- and when it's time to
watch others, your feedback and guidance regarding their performances is so
on-the -money (I think you're a f'n genius!) well, watching the other class
members work on a scene and then perform has become a tremendously valuable -
and very enjoyable learning experience.
Stevenn Beck
My dear Jagger,
You've created a performing monster!
Not only do I credit you with getting my SAG card via a principal role, but now
I've booked a union industrial to go along with a commercial print job......all
handled by one of New York/LA's top agencies. All told, the gig is worth over
$6000. You taught me how to handle any audition with self- confidence. That
confidence comes through even in print "go-sees." AND you encouraged me to "stay
in the game" even though I was 60+ when I started this second career. I'll be
booking more private time so watch out. Thank you so much.
Rita Cronin
Dear Jagger,
Ever since I met you you've been nothing but helpful to not only me, but dozens
of other actors. Your classes are informative and fun at the same time. You make
us work hard, but don't let us leave without learning something. I think it's
great that you now have workshops where actors can meet agents and casting
directors. And the best part is that you make all your classes and workshops
affordable to actors of all levels. The most amazing part is that you have the
Christmas charity show (A Very Jaggered XMAS) every year for children living
with AIDS. You truly do have a heart of gold!
Thank you so much for everything! I can't thank you enough!
Seregon O'Dassey
An actor's dream for success costs a lot of money and sometimes what we get in
return lacks in quality. This is far from the case with Jagger Kaye's classes.
Yes, the cost is low, but it's what you get out of the course that means more. I
had the pleasure of meeting Jagger one year when I participated in his annual A
Very Jaggered X-Mas charity show. I was taken by how this larger than life man
could make people laugh all the while doing something wonderful for children he
would never meet. Then I joined his beginning acting class. I was blow away by
his professionalism and his ability to communicate the information in a
constructive way. The interaction between student and teacher was an vital part
of his methods. Immediately following this class I booked a short film. I signed
on for his first Comedic Acting class and enjoyed every minute of it. We all
prepared very hard for the performances and when one cast member had to pull out
of the show at the last minute, I was proud when Jagger asked me to step up. It
showed he had faith in me and my ability. Due to my new found confidence from
this class, I booked an indy tv pilot and an indy feature film will be released
to film festivals this fall. I am very thankful to not only have learned from
someone who knows his craft but also continue to participate in a wonderful
charity event. Thank you Jagger for everything you do!

Dear Jagger,
Get this! Soon after I took your Commercial Intensive I had an opportunity to
audition for an AMEX Commercial. After a few days I got the call back. This was
my first audition for a professional advertisement and I was able in a short
amount of time apply what you taught in class. What can I say...Thank you
Jagger. Your classes are short and sweet and to the point and of course
affordable. I really like the fact that it does not take a long amount of time
to learn important aspects of acting and to present yourself with confidence.
With all the tips and remarks that you gave me so far I feel I can tackle any
audition room! For that: Kudos to you. Mucho Kudos. Looking forward to many more
Classes and Performances with you.

woman show. Guilt.
Actor: Early 40's. Tough, regular guy. Crime
Actress: Early to mid thirties. Crime.
Actor: Over 50. Angel
Dated are 5/1, 5/2, 5/3, 5/8, 5/9 & 5/10. These shows are part of a
evening of one acts. There is no pay and this is a non-equity

Guilt by Association daringly displays a woman's unfiltered rage
when faced with an unthinkable tragedy. A mother's dreams are
shattered when a car crash puts her daughter in a chronic vegetative
state. Eighteen months later, one of those dreams becomes possible,
but it forces the mother to face her own demons and choose what is
best for her daughter.
Hero explores how one person's hero is another's unwanted stranger.
When a man saves a woman from being hit by a taxi, he is declared a
hero by all the newspapers. Yet when he meets the woman face to
face, her reaction to his impulsive heroics is not what he expected.
Killer is a dramatic narrative about a small town man who moves to
the Big Apple, learns the rules of survival, and begins a journey of
self-discovery that takes him to a place more frightening than the
city itself.
Do the Crime examines how far a man will go when he has been pushed
to the very edge. After spending fifteen years in prison for a rape
and murder he did not commit, a man feels justified in finally doing
the crime for which he has already done the time. Yet has he really
become the monster that everyone believes him to be, or is he still
the good man who suffered a great injustice?
Angel in the Garden considers the blessings that are often overlooked
in our everyday lives. As a recently divorced man spends
Thanksgiving working away from his family, he begins to think that
his shredded life might no longer be worth living. Then he meets a
homeless man who shows him that even when so much is lost, there is
still so much left to do
