Seeking Chief Sitting Bull for Annie Get Your Gun at Seattle Musical

Chief Sitting Bull for Annie Get Your Gun at Seattle Musical Theatre

An older actor is sought for the featured non-singing role of Chief
Sitting Bull in the musical ANNIE GET YOUR GUN at Seattle Musical
Theatre Presented by Civic Light Opera. Role is of Native American
descent.

All ethnicities encouraged to submit.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Rehearsals begin March 24, 2008
Performances run May 9-25, 2008

Annie Get Your Gun scored a bull's-eye when it returned to Broadway in
1999. Peter Stone reshaped the 1946 book to create a Wild West
show-within-a-show that frames the ageless "Anything You Can Do I Can
Do Better" love story of sharpshooters Annie Oakley and Frank Butler.
Joined to the new book, of course, is that amazing Irving Berlin
score, featuring hit after hit after hit. "Irving Berlin's greatest
achievement in the theater," wrote the New York Post, Annie Get Your
Gun "will always be a musical for the ages, one of the Broadway
theatre's enduring triumphs."

The show will rehearse and perform in the Sand Point neighborhood of
Seattle, WA.

To schedule an audition, please email a headshot and resume to David
Purdy, Production Manager, at david@seattlemusicaltheatre.org. If you
have any questions, please feel free to call our production office at
(206) 363-4807.

Wed Mar 5, 2008 11:38 am (PST)

Has anyone ever compared you to Amy Winehouse (but without the drug
problem)?

Are you a hot rocker chick with a smokin' bod and a bit of a 'tude?

Then we'd like to talk to you - we're a video production company doing
a short comedy spot for the internet, and we need an alternative model
type in the Amy Winehouse/Bettie Page mold -– a sexy, busty, pinup-
worthy brunette in her 20s with a sense of humor.

Come work with us for a good solid day rate. No nudity, but some
suggestive clothing and it's a totally legit video for the internet.

Your Director will be three-time National Emmy Award winner Scott
Schaefer of "Bill Nye the Science Guy," "Penn & Teller:Bulsh*t!"
"Almost Live!" and many others (full credits available at http://www.scottso.net
).

Interested? Please email photos, Myspace link, demo reel or other online
portfolio stuff ASAP at:

scottrschaefer@comcast.net

We're hoping to shoot within the next 2-3 weeks!

PAY: $500/day, 1-day minimum, non-union

LOCATION: Seattle/West Seattle area
