Student Video Production crew from the Art Institute of Seattle is looking for a Female Actor for a 26 minute short movie. Promotion is the story of James, a meek and unassuming guy who gets promoted to Sales Manager at his Office after his predecessor, Andy, goes insane on the job. It's a dark comedy and we're still auditioning for the part of the boss' receptionist, Susan. Susan is about 25-35 yrs old. We have an otherwise full and excellent cast and we are starting to shoot soon. Susan has four scenes that are scheduled to be shot on March 8th and 9th. Recycled Hejira Musicians, With the recent exodus of Ashraf (he's headed for the BIG TIME), I am looking to go in a different direction. The working title is "Hejira World Music Ensemble". It'll be similar to the Mahavishnu Orchestra...less belly dance...more concert work. I 1st need a very strong backing Rhythm Section; drummer/percussionist and bass player combination. We already have gigs lined up, so time is of the essence. If you're not interested, perhaps you know of some other musician who is. All candidates should be: talented, experienced, professional, motivated & have their own transportation. I'm looking for; - Drummer/Percussionist (hand drum and/or trap set) able to play a variety of rhythms & instruments while maintaining a strong, driving beat. - a solid, driving Bass Player <music theory background and composition skills are a +> I'm also entertaining one more melodic instrument; - Keyboard - w/classical/jazz/rock chops - Violin/Cello familiar with all ethnic styles and maybe a vocalist.If this is of interest to you...please respond ASAP!Thanks for your time. "Potion" a Seattle Dance Group Audition

Potion is a non-profit local hip hop/contemporary group that has been around
for the last three years and is led by Cameron Lee, a teacher and very much
talented dancer and choreographer. The dance group is based in Northgate at
the Westlake Dance Center and has performed in many events such as
Kube 93.3Summer Jam, Sign of the Times, Hot Import Nights at the Qwest
Event Center,
etc. The team is ready to expand and is looking to add more members.
There will be a big dance show this summer being worked on, and is called
"Unrated" which is a collaboration with a another Seattle hip-hop group
called Phyzikal Graffi-T. The audition is strictly not only for Hip Hop
dancers. It is open to many different styles and such. Below is the
information to the audition.

The first one will be March 9th 2008 at Westlake Dance Center (
http://www.westlakedance.com for directions) from 3pm-7pm. (Also it is
daylight savings so make sure you know what time it really is)

There will be a make up audition which will be held March 12th 2008
7:30pm-8:30pm to learn the combo which is during Cameron's class at Westlake
(Which is also open for anyone not just those auditioning) followed by the
audition process from 8:30pm-11:30pm

Please bring a headshot and resume.

Judges: Ron Smith, Greg Baja, Kari Lee Florentine, Ryan Foster, Kolanie
Marks, Yoshi Wright, and Cameron Lee

There will be two pieces taught; There will be one cut and then the next
piece will be taught. Results will either be told to those who make it the
night of or a few days later on Boogiezone.com.

This audition is to make a bigger yet stronger team and Potion is a
professional team looking for people with a professional attitude. Potion
and Phyzikal Graffi-t are collaborating Unrated 4 this year in late july-
early august time and the people who try out will get to be apart of an
amazing show that is already in the works.

"Laura Meet Laura" casting extras

Hello.

Students of Seattle Central Community College's Film and Video Program are shooting one of their graduate 16mm films this weekend. The film is entitled "Laura Meet Laura" and we need about 20 people to come be extras for a ten year old girls birthday party scene. We need people of all ages. We would especially like young children, teenagers and their parents. We are filming on Saturday, March 1st from 8a.m. to 5p.m. in West Seattle.

*No pay, but free food and a fun atmosphere!
