Mid-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles
Award nominated playwright seeking talented improv actors for a new improv Satirical Short film project entitled: Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja turtles designed as the pilot for a potential web bases series. Looking to be filmed the week of March 15-23. Looking for talented Improv actors. Will be holding a open call audition in the next two weeks but for more info on time and location email director/producer Isaac Shapiro at Isaac.Shapiro@gmail.com

Although there are four main leads will need additional players to work play against leads. So there are additional roles not listed on the break down.

All main leads for the Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja Turles will be using make-up. Although they are technically male roles any female improv actors are encouraged to inquire for the roles seeing how gender shouldn't be a problem due to make-up. Improv talent is what matters above all else.

Non Union Roles:
1. Lenard: Formally Leonardo, the leader of the ninja turtles. Although now Leonardo doesn't use his former name anymore and prefers to go by Lenard. Former super leader is now stuck in a middle management job at a corporation where he is forced to deal with incompetent members of upper management as well as a never ending parade of spreadsheets all day long. In order to fit in and maintain his job Lenard uses think layers of make-up so as to mix-in with the human world. In addition to that, he always strive to be maintaining himself as the leader while constantly being nagged by his wife April O'Neal and fulfilling the needs of their three adopted children.

2. Raphael: the wise cracking tough guy of the group now Raphael has struck out on his own as a trench coat donned vigilante crime fighter, but of course there are no more robots or super villains to fight. He's less a hero and more of a intensely bitter drunk who spends most of his time downing shots of Vodka and red bull in the seediest dive bars around town. Living in a dilapidated apartment with his rent three months overdue Raphael is mere shell of his former self but still goes on despite his personal misery.

3. Mikey: Formerly Michelangelo but now just likes to be called Mikey. Out of all the turtles he is the one who's undergone the least amount of change. At least in the sense that he's still the same party dude from his teenager days only now he doesn't fight crime as much as spend is time hanging around in stoner's basements doing nothing. Out of all the turtles he is easily the most sexually satisfied due to his frequent night visits to Gretchen, a hundred and twenty-year-old Galapagos turtle who lives in a zoo near bye.

4. Don: Formerly Donatello, Don hasn't seen sunlight for the past ten years and has managed to live within the confines of his apartment surrounded by a mirage of plastic action figures and porcelain statuettes of his favorite anime characters. He mostly makes his living by maintaining internet spamming scheme. All of his food, clothing, and other essential life goods are purchased via online stores and delivered to his doorstop. When not maintaining his online business Don video chats with furies as his only form of stimulating and direct contact with the outside world in addition to spending an a great deal of time playing MMO's like World of Warcraft.

Some accolades from the above classes:
My dear Jagger,
You've created a performing monster!
Not only do I credit you with getting my SAG card via a principal role, but now I've booked a union industrial to go along with a commercial print job......all handled by one of New York/LA's top agencies. All told, the gig is worth over $6000. You taught me how to handle any audition with self- confidence. That confidence comes through even in print "go-sees." AND you encouraged me to "stay in the game" even though I was 60+ when I started this second career. I'll be booking more private time so watch out. Thank you so much.
Rita Cronin

Hey Jagger
Yesterday's On-Camera Audition Class hit a grand-slam home run! As usual, your class was fun, upbeat, enjoyable - and extremely informative, helpful and useful. You and Joyce made a great combination, providing both insightful advice and specific, constructive feedback on the audition process in a very nurturing and supportive manner. As always there were several opportunities to perform, providing the maximum amount of experience and feedback in the shortest period of time. All of your classes are great! but this one I think is the best.
Thanks again to you and Joyce!
Stevenn Beck
PS. When will this class be expanded? I'm in!!! :-)

Jagger
I'm glad I took your class. It taught me many things & showed me once again that I love being in a room with other actors learning their craft, makes me "feel a part of" and that my dream is realistic, and can, and will be fulfilled. Thanks for everything..
Now about your teaching. I am a professor and teach theater at Hunter and English at BMCC. You teach like I try to teach my students. You kept me interested, & all the points I wanted to see covered in the class were covered. I trusted that you knew what you were talking about, and came away with a sense of energy about acting that I have not felt in a long time. I would recommend your class to anyone who wants to take a class on any level with you. Once again, thanks for everything you do for us. See you soon
Sincerely,
April Andres

An actor's dream for success costs a lot of money and sometimes what we get in return lacks in quality. This is far from the case with Jagger Kaye's classes. Yes, the cost is low, but it's what you get out of the course that means more. I had the pleasure of meeting Jagger one year when I participated in his annual A Very Jaggered X-Mas charity show. I was taken by how this larger than life man could make people laugh all the while doing something wonderful for children he would never meet. Then I joined his beginning acting class. I was blow away by his professionalism and his ability to communicate the information in a constructive way. The interaction between student and teacher was an vital part of his methods. Immediately following this class I booked a short film. I signed on for his first Comedic Acting class and enjoyed every minute of it. We all prepared very hard for the performances and when one cast member had to pull out of the show at the last minute, I was proud when Jagger asked me to step up. It showed he had faith in me and my ability. Due to my new found confidence from this class, I booked an indy tv pilot and an indy feature film will be released to film festivals this fall. I am very thankful to not only have learned from someone who knows his craft but also continue to participate in a wonderful charity event. Thank you Jagger for everything you do!
Kimberly Amato

Hi Jagger, your "On Camera Workshop" was so worthwhile I can't wait till you have it again. I learned so much, from what colors look good on camera, to makeup, to jewelry and how to audition with confidence. It's great to see yourself on camera, this gives you a chance to really look at yourself and fix what's not working. I never knew that I closed my eyes so much that it took all of the energy out of my audition, that's one tip that I will NEVER forget.
Once again, you hit it out of the park!
Catherine Pierce

Jagger,
I was really impressed by your class today. I've kind of been bragging about it all night! I just re-entered the legit world this fall, and of all the workshops I've taken, I learned the most from yours (On-Camera Workshop). I am soooo sold on your classes and excited to be in your Comedic Acting Class now!
You are a sweet, endearing and supportive acting coach who will fight for talent to discover new levels of their character.
Thanks again!
Jewel Elizabeth

Hey Jagger,
I found your class very productive and helpful. Even though we learn about all these techniques, it becomes hard to apply if we don't practice. So I thank you for always reminding us to practice and encouraging us.
Thanks, your on camera audition class was great. I do want to take your monologue class, so let me know how you want me to register.
Thank you,
Jyoti

Hey Jagger.
Thanks so much for the on-camera workshop on Saturday. Ive taken a few film classes and yours was a refreshing change. We just got right to business, attacked the work AND had fun. So thank-you for that. I found it very helpful. Hope to take your commercial class soon!
Lian-Marie Holmes

Jagger,
I really learned a lot today and it got me over most of my heebie jeebies with regard to auditioning in front of a camera & the rest will come with experience.

RedJacket Films is auditioning several parts for their new independent comedy.
'The Soundtrack to My Life' is a comedy about a failing musician who doesn't want to become a one hit wonder. He turns his life around by producing the soundtrack to his life, an album that promises to be the most incredible music ever heard. Possible Tagline: Fame isn't everything.
The film is going to be based in and around Atlantic City/Ventnor. There will be some bar and concert scenes that will be filmed closer to Philadelphia. Depending on where the majority of feedback for auditions comes from (i.e. Philadelphia or A.C.), auditions will either be held at Gloucester County College or Richard Stockton College. Auditions will be laid back and sides will be sent prior to the audition. We are looking for actors who have a great sense of humor, and can deliver lines quickly.
Head shots, resumes, and scheduling availability are greatly appreciated. Online demo reels are also very helpful in casting as well. Remember, this is a comedy, so the funnier the better.
Thank you for taking an interest in the film and we look forward to hearing from you.

Lyrica: Mick's former muse and ex-girlfriend at the start of the film. An artsy, free spirited type.

Male / 25-30 yrs.
Henry(H): Mick's alcoholic producer. A loyal friend and a keen ear for talent. Comparable to an Ari Gold just not as vulgar.

Male / 25-30 yrs.
Renzo: One of Mick's old high school friends and former band members. Turns out to be a backstabber half-way through the film.

Female / 18-24 yrs.
Cara: An average, attractive, yet witty fan who finds her way into Mick's heart. Sort of a 'band-aid' for Mick.

"Industry Events"

Hey all,
Here is info on our upcoming "Industry Events"
All our "industry events" are unique because I actually take the time to "prep" you on your copy/performance prior to meeting the guest. Several actors now have representation and were immediately called in for auditions.
All events include a one-hr prep where I help you get focused & prepared to showcase yourself best.

If you are interested in any of the below please email aac.seminars@gmail.com with the attendees name in the heading (please send separate emails for each):

Mon 3/10: Kevin McShane - Fifi Oscard (Commercial) at 6pm - $39
Kevin (co-owner of Fifi Oscard Agency) is back for his 4th event. Kevin is freelancing with several actors he met through me & told me he loves our events because they are so fun & he gets to see great people who are "ready" for a world in commercials
*** This is open to only those that have taken my Commercial Intensive

Sun 3/16: Lewis Chambers - Bethel Agency (Legit) at 5pm - $39
Lewis is back again. Lewis is the owner of The Bethel Agency a legit agency & Lewis is geniunly one of the nicest people in the industry. Lewis is what I call "one of the good ones" and truly loves actors. Lewis found several people he wants to work with at our last event.
*** This is open first to only past/current students of mine or those whose work I know ***

Mon 3/24: David Vaccari - Telsey & Co. (legit) at 6pm - $39
David is back for his second event and he called in several actors immediately for a national commercial audition from his first event. This time David will be focusing on Legit scenes. Telsey & Co. is one of the biggest casting companies in NYC and David's insight is invaluable
*** This is open first to only past/current students of mine or those whose work I know ***

Check out the comments below and see why what we do stands out:
Jagger,
Thank YOU for setting up such a wonderful event for us! I was very lucky to be there and had a great time. (And yes, the thank you note is in the mail, just like I promised!)
Good to hear that some of the group received some call-in promises.
I'm definitely looking to attend Vaccari's Legit event in March; I'd love to get in front of him to show him what I do best!
I'm definitely considering the Lewis Chambers/Bethel Agency event as well.
Be well and stay warm!
Kevin Sebastian

Jagger,
You reminded me to bring my personality and stop acting.
And David Vaccari liked it so much that he invited me to read for one of the commercials he's casting.
Timing? Sure.
The planets aligned just so? Uh...absolutely...
Great coaching? You bet.
Thanks Yoda.
Cheers,
Einar Gunn

Hey, Jagger! I want to thank you as well for the opportunity we had last night. There are always a lot of options for seminars and "meet and greets" with other companies, but I know that you genuinely care about your actors and wouldn't bring in someone just looking to make some quick cash. I will definitely be signing up for something like this again in the future. Thanks and best of luck!
