the flow of time itself and he will find me a cure. Still with
everything that has happened I fear that even the Doctor doesn't have
the time or the resources to remedy me and save everyone else. And if

production of Doctor Who: Hippocratic Oath, a four episode audio drama.

Auditions shall be submitted either as a high-quality mp3 file which
we will download from your web space or sent to us through e-mail.

lines using their own equipment, therefore anyone in the world can
participate regardless of location.
The following are the open roles for Hippocratic Oath. Numbers in
parenthesis indicate the number of lines the character has.
We do offer a small amount of pay for these roles. Payment is offered
so that actors may list this production on their resume as a
Professional Role, rather than an amateur one. Professional rolls look
much better to casting directors, so every line on the resume helps.
We wish we could pay more, but we don't charge any money for these
stories, so we lose a ton of money on each production. But we love
what we do, so here we are.
Voice actors who have multiple voices in their repertoire are
encouraged to give a sample of each in addition to their audition. We
may offer you multiple roles if your voices are identifiably different
from each other.
Roles generally can have any accent, but preference is given to
British accents. Certain roles require a certain accent. These roles
will have their accent requirements listed. When it comes to accents,
we're not looking for perfection. Just get it in the ballpark and
that'll be good enough.
Everyone who submits an audition will receive an acknowledgement. If
you don't get one, then something happened and we didn't receive it.
If the problem persists (as sometimes the internet swallows messages),
please feel free to post a message on our message board at

Once an audition is received, we will check it over for technical
quality (no noise, no echo, etc.). If there is a technical problem,
we will let you know. Other than that, however, we do not make any
casting decisions until after auditions close. Therefore, please do
not feel that you need to get your audition in the very first thing.
We don't do First Come First Cast, so please don't feel rushed.

AMY – Female Nurse 25 years old. Amy has a wisdom that goes beyond
her experience. She has only been a nurse for a few years, and
doesn't have as much medical knowledge as her colleagues in the
hospital. She compensates for her lack of knowledge with her
determination and care for others (especially the staff). They are
all in a difficult situation and she has become the resident "mom"
figure. She defers to the other staff for medical matters but isn't
afraid to speak her mind about anything else. (17)
ASSISTANT – Male 30 years old. Thomas Ahren is the Overseer's
assistant and it is a job he is perfectly suited to. He was once a
doctor working in the Keele's body, but his attention to detail and
his willingness to do anything has helped him work up the ranks to
second in command. He is an opportunist who knowing true freedom is
not an option but compared to the rest of Keele's slaves his rank has
provided his own sort of freedom. He revels in these perks. It is
generally believed that Thomas is working towards the Overseer's job,
but deep down he is happy where he is. He has discovered that it is
easy to be sadistic when you can say that you were just following
orders. (59)
CHAPMAN – Male 62 years old. Dr. Chapman has been a prisoner inside
Keele for most of his life, and now knows no other way to live. He
was a brilliant scientist and doctor working on the original staff of
microsubs when they were first introduced into Keele. At the time it
was an honor to work for Keele. Soon however he began to realize that
Keele was kidnapping doctors to man these subs and stood up to him.
Unfortunately like many others who stood up to Keele he soon
disappeared becoming one of those kidnapped doctors trapped under
Keele's flesh. Now after all these years imprisoned he has lost the
most valuable possession he had, hope. He has become used to slavery
and accepts it as his life. He has learned to work in the system, and
can get what he needs to survive plus a little extra, but knows
happiness is fleeting. He has seen first hand the horrors of both
Keele and the Overseer and is too afraid to cause trouble with either.
Even if he found the heart to rebel where can he go when Keele has
shrunk him to microscopic size? Chapman is moved by one thing,
Moria's courage despite her emanate death. (122)
DESUETUDE – Male 34 years old. Dr. Desuetude was a happy man before
his imprisonment with a thriving practice and dreams of starting a
family. Imprisonment has turned him dark and angry. He wants nothing
more than to lash out at Keele and doesn't care what is done to him in
turn. He does have a handful of friends inside with him, but you have
to earn your place before he will let you get close to him. Deep down
he fears anybody new will either get killed or crack under the strain
so he gives people the cold shoulder until they have earned his
respect. Desuetude's darkness only protects his love of life and
desire for freedom that hide just below the surface. His desire for
both freedom and revenge has caused him to seek out and join the
rebellion inside Keele. His code name in the rebellion is Scissors
because his eagerness to cut into Keele and his urging to head any
strike against him. (23)
OVERSEER – Male 40 years old. The Overseer is a man without a name
and that is how he likes it. When you give up your name you give up
any need to feel compassion to your own kind. The Overseer is all
about results. Everybody hates him, and if he allowed himself to
feel, even he would hate himself. Still it is easy not to get caught
up in feelings when you can wrap yourself in facts. Since the
Overseer has taken over operations inside Keele's body have been
running at an all time high. Most of this has come from the
Overseer's realization that if you kill off just a couple of the more
troublesome workers that the entire workforce as a whole will run off
pure fear itself. He has made it a habit to kill off one man every
time a new batch of "recruits" joins. The rest immediately realize
just the kind of man the Overseer is. He is a warden who gets
results, because he rules with an iron fist and fear. (87)
SECURITY CHIEF MARK PARKIN – Male 45 years old. Parkin may frustrate
the staff of the hospital by the casual way he rationalizes and
explains away there problems, but what they don't know is that is what
he was hired for. He is nothing more than a low life con man that was
offered the chance of his life. Keele offered him fat sacks of money
to impersonate an Earthcore Security Officer while performing the duel
tasks of both sweeping the staff's concerns under the carpet and being
Keele's eyes in the hospital. While Parkin may be a low life con man
he isn't going to make a dumb mistake and mess up this job. He has
done enough prison time in the past and has no plans to go back. He's
saving his fat sacks of money to retire to some asteroid bar in the
far corner of the universe, because he knows it is his best chance at
his own personal happy ending. (23)
DR. REBECCA DONOVAN – Female 32 years old. Rebecca is an everyday
heroine just trying to be the best doctor she can in a situation out
of control. Rebecca feels for Keele's fight for survival both because
it is the cornerstone of her profession, and more personally because
she witnessed her grandmothers death last minute wishes for more time,
but her sympathy is clouded by anger at him because of all the deaths
he is unwittingly causing by kidnapping the doctors needed to fight
this plague outbreak. She is full of passion to help others, but
there is only so much she can do herself and that strain bites into
her. (198)
SCALPEL – Male 27 years old. He is the strong and determined leader
of the rebellion inside Mr. Keele. Before being forced into slavery
he was a brilliant surgeon and the top of his field. His precise mind
aided him in breaking away from Keele's senitals and leading his rag
tag band against overwhelming odds. His code name is Scalpel and it
is a reflection of the precise and calculated way he both keeps his
friends alive and strikes out at Keele. He will do whatever necessary
so that his group can survive at any cost. (90)
STETHOSCOPE -24 year old Female. Real name Carla Jensen. Member of
the rebellion with the code name Stethoscope because she is in charge
of keeping an ear on all the going on in Keele's body. She monitors
all the transmitting and data logs. (35)
X-RAY – 22 years old Female. She is the techie member of the
rebellion. She loves to take things apart and figure out how they
work. She has been in charge of the extensive retrofitting they have
had to do to get all of Keele's "toys" to work for them. She is
resourceful and has figured out how to make things work with little to
no raw materials. (9)
