FoodPlay Productions is casting FoodPlay, an Emmy-Award-winning, fun-filled nutrition theater show featuring amazing juggling, colorful characters, motivating messages, music, magic, and audience participation to help children learn how to take charge of growing up healthy and fit. Rehearsals in August, Performances run September thru December at schools in the Middle to Eastern US. Pay, travel, lodging, and some meals provided.
Seeking non-union � Coach: male or female with an energetic physicality. Must be willing to learn basic juggling. Janey/Johnny: male or female with a background in juggling, youthful appearance and energy. Advanced juggling and other special skills a plus. Must be proficient in basic juggling and willing to learn some tricks. Both actors must be able to present a good role model for young children, have a strong speaking voice, great stage presence and an interest in working with children. Both actors must be over 18 and have a valid driver�s license.

Shooting independent Non-Union short on 16 mm color film. Project MK is a 1950s conspiracy theory genre film based on CIA protocol. Looking to cast: Professor Matthew Klark, a Caucasian male who looks like he�s in his 70s, frail looking older gentleman, preferably grey or white hair, the part requires a wide emotional range for the actor. Agent Bailey, a conservative looking Caucasian male in his 30s, he�s thorough and ambitious about his work, a Gary Sinise type. Arnold Ellis, a Caucasian male in his 60s, methodical and in charge, a Michael Caine type. Dr. Liebegott, a Caucasian male over 35, ex-Nazi doctor from Germany. Two Soldiers, both Caucasian males in their 20s.

Actors needed for Drama/Thriller Feature Film!!
A film revolving around three stories: two detectives trying to catch a group of serial robbers while trying to work out their differences. A story of a boy, Zach, just released from jail who tries to get his life back together while trying to shake his troubled past. And finally, the story of a single mother struggling to raise her blind child while she tries to live her own life.
This is an NYU student film, we have a highly experienced crew. We all work very efficiently and playfully. It should be a fun set.
Roles Available:
Amy: Zach's mother- a very caring woman who loves her trouble son, almost excessively. She struggles with her own health problems and trying to keep her family happy. An older looking woman.
Joanne: The mother of a blind child. She's a free spirit, young at heart, yet burried under responsibilities. She wants to live her own life.
Drew: An old friend of Zach. He's a rebel, witty and drug addicted.

Your classes are easily the most fun and the most worthwhile acting lessons I've ever taken! The price of course is phenomenal - but really irrelevant. Above all else, the classes are both fun and valuable- a powerful combination! Your unbelievable level of energy- coupled with your perceptive and valuable observations and constructive feedback- tough, necessary but also nurturing- contribute to an atmosphere of learning which just blows away the competition. Other acting classes I've taken were relatively boring, usually with just a minimum time to perform - 5 minutes in a 3 hour class? - and were long on theory, short on execution. (Sometimes there was ALL theory and virtually little time devoted to actually acting.) In your classes we roll up our sleeves and get right to work learning how to become a character and tell the story, there is a maximum time for everyone to perform, which is great!- and when it's time to watch others, your feedback and guidance regarding their performances is so on-the -money (I think you're a f'n genius!) well, watching the other class members work on a scene and then perform has become a tremendously valuable - and very enjoyable learning experience.

Just wanted to let you know how much this class meant to me. I have had a fear of performing live since my last time on stage but your writing, direction and genius knowledge of performance has given me a second wind. The entire experience was awesome. You challenged me to play characters outside my comfort zone and I thank you for it. Your ability to pull praise worthy performance out of an actors strengths and weakness's is truly brilliant.
