Fri Feb 29, 2008 8:45 am (PST)

You are invited to a (volunteer!) work party on March 16th and 17th.

What: a work party to make costumes for an independent SF movie

When: The weekend of March 16th and 17th, all day both days (It's also fine
to come for just one day). (The work party starts at 9 a.m., and goes till
late - there will be lots of snacks provided!)

Where: South end of Seattle (we'll send the address and driving directions
when you sign up to help out)

We have several sewing machines, and can use people with and without sewing
skills (You can grab a machine and start sewing, or sit around with the
rest of us cutting out patterns). (We'll be sewing denim and other
fabrics, and also may be doing some leather riveting.... fun!)

If you'd like to volunteer, please email Nilsosmar@gmail.com

Casting details:

We are looking for:

Father, Male of the protagonist, mid-forties, stoic, law abiding,
straight laced,

Grandfather, Father of the father of the protagonist- looks to be in
his 70's, eccentric, intelligent, prophetic, still has a spark, still
very well with it- much dialogue, needs to show quite a range of
emotion, needs to be in shape, able to tackle a long journey

Granddaughter- our protagonist (the lead), late teens very early 20's,
innocent, hopeful, heroic quality, strong willed yet tender,
determined, much dialogue, needs to be an excellent actress, show a
range of emotion and stamina, in shape, needs to be able to tackle a
long journey. Minors will only be accepted if parents will be on set
the entire time and be in charge of their well-being and education.

Grandmother- no lines, must look old, not very coherent any longer.

Filming will be March 5th through March 8th. We can not say which days
which characters will be needed since we don't have locations locked
just yet and since it being a film festival and we only have 168 hours
to make this we are working with a very tight timetable.

The granddaughter and grandfather will probably be needed every day of
filming. Grandmother 1 day. Father 2-3 days.

Please remember this film will be entered and premiered down in LA in
April for the "168" Film Festival. We have an unbelievable team of top
Northwest filmmakers, writers, production crew, actors etc. all volunteering
their time and talents towards the success of this project.

Please send a headshot and resume. Invitations to the audition
will be sent out personally.
