Seeking male and female for two leads in an independent feature film to shoot in NYC summer '08.If chosen, actors need to be available to shoot a short trailer/teaser for one week late April.Prefer actors living in NYC area, or able to relocate for duration of shoot.

Familiarity with NYC underground art scene (music, art, film, street-art, graffiti, etc.) a plus.

Casting a short film called HEY IT'S ME to be shot on HD in mid-April. Please send along a HS and resume to be considered.

This is a small production that will be sent out to film festivals. It's a philosophic futuristic sci-fi film that takes place in an apartment.
There is no pay, but a SAG contract is in process. SAG and non-SAG please submit.
Roles:
Ian: LEAD, 20 -25, Caucasian male, dark hair, young, innocent. Must be able to be made up scruffy in one scene, clean cut in the next. Seeking an actor who can play a wide range of emotions, improv skills a plus.
Mom: ONE LINE, Mid 50s, Caucasian female. Ian's youthful, vibrant, sweet mom, who is comfortable with technology but still loves to personally interact with her husband and son. Must be comfortable casually dancing with the actor cast as her husband.
Dad: ONE LINE, Mid 50s, Caucasian male. Ian's youthful, vibrant dad who is comfortable with technology but still loves to personally interact with her his wife and son. Must be comfortable casually dancing with the actor cast as his wife.
Wendy: PRINCIPAL, 20 - 25, open ethnicity female, bi or multi racial is a plus. Sorry, no red heads. Must be able to be made up to look beautiful in one scene, a party girl, and pathetic and messy in the next. Slightly self centered, a bit edgier than the girl next door.
Stephen: PRINCIPAL, 20 - 25, open ethnicity male. No red heads, no long hair. Must be able to play an average athletic guy, bit of an adventurer, in one scene, but able to play a little geeky in the next. Likes to style himself out a bit, kind of a cool guy. Might read Maxim. A bit self centered and shallow.
Podcaster: ONE LINE, 18 � 25, to play teens, open ethnicity, open gender. Probably male. Scruffy, slightly overweight, couch potato, out of shape. Newscaster of the future delivering the news via the internet, a glorified blogger.
Newscaster: ONE LINE, 20 -30, open ethnicity female to play a futuristic newscaster. Clean hair, clean look, the perfect newscaster, beautiful.

The scene takes place inside a retail-clothing store for teenage girls, within a shopping mall. Dina tells Alyssa and Hanna that whoever makes the most money in commissions that shift will win a free pair of earrings.
Breakdowns:
Female / 18-24 yrs. / Asian.
CAROL: Corporate, professional. Very outspoken, active, talkative, �the gossiper� of the group, someone who is a natural attention craver. Must be able to speak without an accent.
Female / 18-24 yrs. / White.
HANNA (16 - 17 yrs looking) White, (Dark or black hair) mischievous, cunning, obnoxious, trendy, energetic, rude, self-centered
Female / 18-24 yrs. / White.

Actors and Actresses Needed for Commercial. This commercial will highlight the career of Barack O�Bama and is being produced independently. This will be distributed to various media outlets and one national outlet for possible airplay and you will also receive credit although there is no pay.
Please note you cannot be signed by any agent, manager, talent group whether local or national. You cannot be affiliated with AFTRA, EQUITY or any performing or artistic related union. Please submit your unsigned, un-represented headshots and video to us.
You do not need to be a performer with a headshot, a well presented snap shot will suffice as we need everyday looks as well.
Everyone involved will be viewed as someone who supports O�bama or is willing to portray an actor who supports O�bama.
We need all ages and ethnicities, with a strong need for performers who APPEAR to be ages 18-30.

Non Union casting call for short film production - JAYA
Seeking 4 devoted and serious actors for a short film project called 'Jaya' that will be shot in New York City, in late April.
Character breakdowns are below and very specific. The job is paid (TBA), plus travel stipends, food and a DVD copy of the film, as well as the opportunity be seen in several festivals worldwide will be offered.
Auditions will be held on March 29th (Saturday), between 10.00 am - 5.00 pm, at City College (137th Street and Convent Avenue).

Your classes are easily the most fun and the most worthwhile acting lessons I've
ever taken! The price of course is phenomenal - but really irrelevant. Above all
else, the classes are both fun and valuable- a powerful combination! Your
unbelievable level of energy- coupled with your perceptive and valuable
observations and constructive feedback- tough, necessary but also nurturing-
contribute to an atmosphere of learning which just blows away the competition.
Other acting classes I've taken were relatively boring, usually with just a
minimum time to perform - 5 minutes in a 3 hour class? - and were long on
theory, short on execution. (Sometimes there was ALL theory and virtually little
time devoted to actually acting.) In your classes we roll up our sleeves and get
right to work learning how to become a character and tell the story, there is a
maximum time for everyone to perform, which is great!- and when it's time to
watch others, your feedback and guidance regarding their performances is so
on-the -money (I think you're a f'n genius!) well, watching the other class
members work on a scene and then perform has become a tremendously valuable -
and very enjoyable learning experience.

Not only do I credit you with getting my SAG card via a principal role, but now
I've booked a union industrial to go along with a commercial print job......all
handled by one of New York/LA's top agencies. All told, the gig is worth over
$6000. You taught me how to handle any audition with self- confidence. That
confidence comes through even in print "go-sees." AND you encouraged me to "stay
in the game" even though I was 60+ when I started this second career. I'll be

An actor's dream for success costs a lot of money and sometimes what we get in
return lacks in quality. This is far from the case with Jagger Kaye's classes.
Yes, the cost is low, but it's what you get out of the course that means more. I
had the pleasure of meeting Jagger one year when I participated in his annual A
Very Jaggered X-Mas charity show. I was taken by how this larger than life man
could make people laugh all the while doing something wonderful for children he
would never meet. Then I joined his beginning acting class. I was blow away by
his professionalism and his ability to communicate the information in a
constructive way. The interaction between student and teacher was an vital part
of his methods. Immediately following this class I booked a short film. I signed
on for his first Comedic Acting class and enjoyed every minute of it. We all
prepared very hard for the performances and when one cast member had to pull out
of the show at the last minute, I was proud when Jagger asked me to step up. It
showed he had faith in me and my ability. Due to my new found confidence from
this class, I booked an indy tv pilot and an indy feature film will be released
to film festivals this fall. I am very thankful to not only have learned from
someone who knows his craft but also continue to participate in a wonderful
charity event. Thank you Jagger for everything you do!

Get this! Soon after I took your Commercial Intensive I had an opportunity to
audition for an AMEX Commercial. After a few days I got the call back. This was
my first audition for a professional advertisement and I was able in a short
amount of time apply what you taught in class. What can I say...Thank you
Jagger. Your classes are short and sweet and to the point and of course
affordable. I really like the fact that it does not take a long amount of time
to learn important aspects of acting and to present yourself with confidence.

Dinner for 4
Short film where the two wives find themselves in a very awkward
situation when their husbands decide that they need to spice things up
to keep things interesting. One role remains to be cast. "Raymond" is
a soft spoken, follower type and seems to want to make every one
happy. This film contains adult dialog, adult situations and same
gender kissing (male). Raymond is only required to have a same gender
kiss. There is NO nudity in this film at all. We are set to shoot the
weekend of April 26/27. No Pay SAG short. Travel Provided. DVD and/or
digital format copy of project provided. This short will be submitted
to festivals.
