Casting this NYU Student Short Film. 'Cooties' is a comedy about a young woman who thinks a curse is the reason she has not yet been able to have sex for the first time.

YOUNG SUSY (U/5) � African American, Age 8; the main character's younger self. Young Susy is an innocent, typical 8 year-old girl.
VERONICA - Age 23; one of the main character's best friends. Veronica is sophisticated and professional. She cares a lot about her work and success.
AMBER - Age 23; one of the main character's best friends. A smart girl who sadly comes off as ditsy.
CHARLES - Age 24; Charles is a little socially awkward but overall the average 24 year-old guy.
DAVID (U/5) - Age 25, very attractive; currently dating the main character. David is clean-cut and a successful business man interested in finding the right girl.
YOUNG CHARLES (U/5) - Age 8, overweight. Young Charles is a typical obnoxious 8 year-old boy.

Auditions will be held by appointment only in late March in the NYU area.
Filming will take place in New York on April 11th, 12th, & 13th.
Food will be provided; all actors will appear in the credits and will receive a copy of the finished film.

Student looking for actors for Graduating Short Film Production. No Compensation, but will offer DVD copy of work for Acting reel and food.

Shooting will begin in late April. The following roles will be offered:

Angelika � White Female, Age: Late fifties and on.
A grandmother looking for closure after the untimely death of her grandson. With her mind slowly losing grip with reality, she struggles to make one last trip to retrieve his body before she forgets he even existed.

Young Boy � White Male, Age: seven to twelve.
He will alternate Angelika�s image of her grandson when he wasyoung to a young boy, who she encounters on her trip that resembles him. His playful nature mixed with harsh realities will keep the film grounded dramatically.

Soldier Number One � White Male, Late teens/early twenties.
He will serve as Angelika�s grandson, who describes how to appreciate the little beauties in life. His experience with the war will affect him the same way his death will affect his grandmother.

Solider Number Two � White Male, Early thirties to late forties.
He will give the story insight as to how time apart from your loved one�s can affect you mentally in ways you couldn�t imagine.

Kee Casting is casting Sag/Nonbackground actors for the upcoming feature film All Good Things directed by Andrew Jarecki

The film takes place from 1973-83.
Shooting mid-April through mid-June, primarily in Connecticut
Fittings will be held in NYC.

Union/Non Needed:
Males: all ages, who have or are willing to grow their hair longer, grow sideburns, and grow moustaches and/or beards
Young Men and Women: 20s, all ethnicities, with slim builds and long hair, to play hippies and druggies;
Upscale Men and Women: to play conservative business types, men�s hair and sideburns should be somewhat long.

HAJI KHORSANDI: Male, Iranian, late 30's-50 years old, 5'8"+. Father, carpet salesman, looks older but otherwise average. Funny, loving, honest, devoted. Must speak fluent Farsi. Union/Non-union ok.

SARFARAZ: Male, Iranian, 30-40. Antique salesman, manipulative, conniving. Must speak fluent Farsi. Union/Non-union ok.

SHIRIN: Female, Iranian, 20-26. College student, very innocent and feminine, worried about her place in the world (could be seen as selfish by others), feels isolated and alone. Must speak fluent Farsi. Union only.

STORY LINE: An Iranian carpet salesman visits his daughter at Columbia University the day their home in Tehran is bombed. He tries to keep this traumatic information from her and maintain a strong composure, but he's overwhelmed by an inner conflict; he doesn't have the financial means to keep her in school and help the rest of the family in Tehran. Only his selling of a family heirloom Qoran can rescue the family's situation.
