Location: Manhattan, NY
This short film is divided into four episodes recreating Martha�s lucid memories of her past. She addresses the camera to narrate her stories, opening a gateway into her sexual curiosity and growth. Martha�s life experiences reveal her infatuation with a German pianist at the age of six, a teenage sexual role game, a lurid one-night stand, and finally her feelings of abandonment after the culmination of an intense love affair.
This is a low budget student film shot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. At this time we are accepting non-SAG submissions.
- 14 year-old Martha: She is 27 year-old Martha at the age of 14. Simultaneously timid and impulsive, she is very curious about her sexuality. This character will have sexual content scenes. She plays a sexual role game with a teenage friend, Maria Laura. The two actresses will kiss. There is no nudity. - Role # 2 Seeking 1 talent for this role 6 year-old Martha: She is 27 year-old Martha at the age of 6. She is an introverted and very imaginative girl, who has a major crush on a German pianist. She plays out her love affair with the pianist through inanimate objects. Searchable talent specs: Gender: Female Age: from 4 to 8 Ethnicity: Hispanic or White
- 27 year-old Martha: She is your average, attractive young woman with an unconventional sense of style. She is genuine, passionate and self-indulgent. She has a child-like imagination. Martha collects vintage Polaroid cameras and she is fascinated by Christian religious imagery. This character will have sexual content scenes; there is scene where the actress will be partially topless, however the specifics are negotiable. - James: He is an inexperienced, attractive man who uses his good looks to his advantage. He is not very clever and pretends to be knowledgeable in order to compensate for his lack of worldliness. He is young and not ready to settle down. This character will have sexual content scenes. Partial nudity will be required for one of the scenes; you will have to appear in your boxer briefs. The script has only one location. The film contains 15 vignettes each dealing with different characters, and their internal nature. The duration of the shoot will, be roughly 1-2 days, and will take place in March.

About Miss Storey:
Learn from Joyce Storey, the only actress, as far as she knows, who's
played Bella The Ball, Cindy Rella, Tiffany-the-Compulsive- Shopper,
and the Sister Maria Theresa Juanita Teresita Santucci all in the same
lifetime! Her BA and a BEd from Acadia University, Producer's Diploma
from the Hollywood Film Institute and Director's Diploma from the
Digital Film Academy NY are just the tip of the iceberg. This girl's
got moxie! She studied improvisation with Brian Nazimok from Toronto's
Second City and had a blast! She's taught improv for almost a decade
and had a bigger blast! She's performed improvisational comedy for
twenty years throughout Canada and the US (of course she started in
the womb she can't possibly be that old!) In New York she's performed
with improv troupes Atticus and Klaatu as well as Mostly Murder (Don't
ask how many times she's died!). She is an award-winning writer and
filmmaker and founder/producer of Storeyline Productions, Inc. She has
worked extensively in New York theatre including her role as Det.
Garbenski in the Off-Broadway production of Corner Wars, which won the
Oppenheimer Award for Best Play. She's done numerous indie films,
industrials and commercials. TV credits include: Guiding Light, As the
World Turns, Law and Order SVU and Sex and the City. She currently has
a recurring role as an ICU Nurse on One Life to Live and is cited in
the Who's Who of American Women. And she's just plain fun to be with!
