Returns to the bee after a five-year hiatus following an episode in which he lost control. A bit emotionally unstable; will never be principal. Has a crush on Rona. Does not sing any solo lines, but should be able to carry a tune. Those auditioning for this role should prepare a song for auditions. NYC Auditions for Pittsfield MA Productions
Barrington Stage Company 2008 Season Equity Principal Auditions / Dramas
Pittsfield MA
LOA (approved; $455/week minimum) and SPT (approval/salary level pending; 2007 minimum weekly salary: $347.)
Artistic Director: Julianne Boyd (at EPA)
Managing Director: Peter Clough
Casting Director: Pat McCorkle
All dates below are in 2008:
Mainstage non-musical productions (LOA contracts):
THE VIOLET HOUR by Richard Greenberg. Director: Rob Ruggiero.
1st rehearsal: June 24. Runs July 17 - August 2.
1919; the dawn of the Jazz Age. A young publisher, John Pace Seavering, has to decide whether to publish the book of an old college friend or his African American mistress, a popular jazz singer. Adding to this dilemma is the arrival of a strange machine which spews pages from books written in the future, telling what lies ahead for each of the characters.
Casting note: All actors must be comfortable with style work.
John Pace Seavering: Caucasian man, around 25. Rich young Princeton grad; sets out in 1919 to found a publishing firm that will transform American literature. Torn between his friend and his lover as to which novel he will publish. Handsome, smart and passionate.
Gidger: Caucasian man, ageless (30 - 45). Comic character. Johns overeducated, tightly-wound assistant. He wants nothing more than to be a celebrity himself, but recognizes that hes unlikely to be even a footnote or index listing in the annals of literary history. Actor must have outstanding comic ability and be comfortable with physical comedy.
Denis McCleary: Caucasian man, around 25. Looks Irish. Handsome. Brashly romantic novelist who sees himself as an outsider in the world of the privileged. Must get his novel published if he wants any chance of marrying his girl, Rosamund Plinth. Has the passion of an artist.
Rosamund Plinth: Caucasian woman, early mid 20s. Dangerously neurotic heiress of eccentric charm and great beauty whose parents will only allow her to marry a man of financial promise. Unstable and somewhat self-destructive girl.
Jessie Brewster: African American woman, 40 45. Worldly, beautiful, seductive and somewhat famous jazz singer who wants John to publish her memoirs. She is slightly self-destructive as well, but for the period is a very strong woman. Actress must have the presence of a true leading lady.
PRIVATE LIVES by Noel Coward. Director: Julianne Boyd
1st rehearsal: July 15. Runs August 7 24. Mainstage.
A divorced couple, on honeymoons in Deauville with their new spouses, find their passion for one another reignited. They run off together to Paris, only to be found a week later by their new spouses. Cowards comic masterpiece and a brilliant reflection on love, truth and the nature of relationships.
Casting note: All must have great comic timing.
Amanda: Mid 30s. Beautiful, sophisticated divorced wife of Elyot. Witty and urbane, with real passion and fire. Actress must be fearless and comfortable with physical comedy. Must have great comic timing, be able to handle quick repartee/dialogue masterfully and have a strong sense of period style (1930).
Sybil: Mid 20s. A bit too sweet and too cute, but charming enough to be Elyots second wife (but far less worldly and witty than Amanda). Doesnt really understand Elyot or men in general. Used to getting her own way; a spoiled young rich girl. Actress must have great comic timing and a strong sense of period style (1930).
Louise: 40s - 50s. Amandas cigarette-smoking, frowsy-looking maid. Speaks only French. Ignores the proper way to serve, etc. does things her own way. Nothing surprises her. Must have great comic timing.
The roles of Elyot and Victor have been cast. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary.
TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD Adapted by Christopher Sergel from Harper Lees novel. Director: Julianne Boyd.
1st rehearsal: September 19. Runs October 8 26. Mainstage.
Play is about the crisis of human behavior and conscience arising from the racism and prejudice that exist in Maycomb, AL in 1935. Scout Finch, age 9 (or 10), who lives with her brother, Jem, age 14, and their lawyer father, Atticus, sees what happens when her father defends Tom Robinson, a young African American man accused of the raping of a white woman. Play explores the nature of heroism when confronted with bigotry.
Jean Louise Scout Finch: Age 9 or 10. An inquisitive girl, but a real tomboy. Courageous and forthright, she has a combative streak and a basic faith in the goodness of the people in her community. As the play progresses, this faith is tested by the hatred and prejudice that emerge during Tom Robinsons trial.
Jeremy Atticus Jem Finch: Age 14. Scouts older brother. Typical American boy, refusing to back down from dares and fantasizing about playing football. With his sister, hes trying to understand his fathers pacifist reactions to the events around him. His ideals are shaken by the evil and injustice that he perceives during the trial of Tom Robinson.
Atticus Finch: Nearly 50. Tall and reserved, hes quietly courageous without heroics and does what he considers just. Scout and Jems widowed father, a lawyer who also has a dry sense of humor. Atticus has instilled in his children a strong sense of morality, justice and commitment to racial equality. The plays moral backbone.
Calpurnia: 40s - 50s, African American woman. The Finches housekeeper and cook. Proud and kind, but also a stern disciplinarian; a substitute mother who has much wisdom and patience with the Finch children.
Maudie Atkinson: 50s. The Finches neighbor, a widow. Wise, kind woman; shares Atticuss passion for justice, and is the childrens best friend among Maycombs adults. Narrates much of the story.
Stephanie Crawford: 60s. The neighborhood gossip; enjoys it to the hilt. Knows all of the back history of the entire town. Petty. Loves to stir things up, in an almost comical way.
Mrs. Henry Lafayette Dubose: 70s. Ill, walks with difficulty. Her pain makes her biting, bitter and angry. Seen as a racist.
Arthur Boo Radley / Mr. Gilmer: 40s. Boo: Pale recluse who hasnt stepped outside his house in 15 years. Intelligent, good man emotionally damaged by his cruel father. Mr. Gilmer: The public prosecutor trying to convict Tom. In doing so, he appears cruel and vindictive.
Charles Baker Dill Harris: About 14. Jem and Scouts summer neighbor and friend. Diminutive, confident boy with a very active imagination. Better dressed than Scout and Jem, he has a bit more sophistication than they do. Lacking a good home life, he senses in Atticus something thats missing in his own family relationship.
Bob Ewell: Late 40s. Drunken, mostly unemployed member of Maycombs poorest family; lives with his large family near the town dump. In his knowingly wrongful accusation that Tom Robinson raped his daughter, Ewell represents the dark side of the South: ignorance, poverty, squalor and hate-filled racial prejudice.
Mayella Ewell: 20s. Bobs abused, lonely, unhappy daughter, looking for a relationship. Though one can pity Mayella because of her overbearing, abusive father, one cannot pardon her for her wrongful indictment of Tom Robinson.
Reverend Sykes: African American, 30s - 40s. Minister; friend of Atticus. Imposing man with a strong stage presence. Careful not to offend others lest he injure Tom Robinsons chance of a fair trial.
Tom Robinson: African American, mid 20s. Strong, vital field hand accused of rape. Left hand was crippled in a childhood accident and is held against his chest. Has a quiet dignity and a sensitivity that come out in the trial.
Heck Tate / Nathan Radley: 40s - 50s. Heck: The sheriff of Maycomb. Major witness at Toms trial. Decent man who tries to protect the innocent from danger, although he does it while enforcing the law. Nathan: Boos older brother. Pale, thin, leathery; also a recluse.
Mr. Walter Cunningham / Judge Taylor: 50s. Cunningham: Poor farmer. Part of the mob that seeks to lynch Tom at the jail. Shares the prejudices of the time, but is nevertheless a man who can be reached as a human being. Taylor: Friend of Atticus. Good man with strong character. Though he is trying to be fair to all concerned, his sympathy is with Tom.

CASSANDRA’S ANGEL - NEW YORK, NY
CASTING:
CASSANDRA
11-18 to play 12. A beautiful, creative and imaginative child, Cassandra is our hero from the beginning. Even as the other characters in the story oppose, antagonize and criticize her, Cassandra shines with an inner strength that gives audiences hope and courage. Cassandra shows us that we can always face our greatest challenges with a loving heart as our guide. Alto/belter – should be extremely comfortable singing in a contemporary pop genre.
MOM
30s - 40s, a very loving and devoted parent, Cassandra’s mother faces the challenges of raising a child alone. Dealing with the pressures of career and keeping her home in order, she sometimes finds it difficult to fully appreciate Cassandra’ s imaginative and creative nature. However, at the end of the day, Cassandra is the true treasure of her life. Musical theatre mix sound, not a soprano.
MR. MCQUAINT
40-55, character actor, Cassandra’s teacher, he spends his days fantasizing about how much better the world would be if all children grew up to be just like him. An enthusiast for facts and figures, Mr. McQuaint likes things to be neat and in order. He grades his students by their ability to follow the rules. There will be no one drawing outside the lines in his class. Baritenor.
THE ANGEL
ageless, cool, hip, spiritual. At the moment that Cassandra realizes that she has the truth within her, the Angel appears, not as a rescuer, but as an affirmation to Cassandra that, by following her heart, she holds the key to understanding a wonderful secret. The Angel leaves Cassandra with a magical message of hope, encouraging her to continue sharing her love and uniqueness with others. Young, enlightened and maternal; pop belt, soul-filled sound.
MISS IVA STRESS
40s-60s, character actress, secretary to the Mayor, is the real source of power running City Hall. Along with her cadre of office clerks and assistants, she runs the show while the Mayor parades for the press and his public. But she knows that somewhere along the road she took a wrong turn, having made the choice that “ordinary is far less scary.” Character belt.
MR. MAYOR
30s – 50s, character actor. Ever the showman, Mr. Mayor only has his heart set on another election term. Always ready with a wink and a smile for the press and eligible voters, he reveals his true colors to Cassandra when she turns to him in a moment of need. Mr. Mayor dismisses Cassandra and walks away indifferent to her plea that he is her last hope. The Mayor is Cassandra’s father. Baritenor.
BOY IN THE MOON
13-18 to play 14-ish, boy, teen heartthrob, changed voice. He is Cassandra’s unseen guide and friend, a bit older than Cassandra, the Boy in the Moon also serves the audience as narrator moving lithely from scene to scene, illuminating the action with his own unique brand of magic. At 26 Willow Place Brooklyn, NY 11201
Character Descriptions
Singing Principals
Billy Bigelow Carnival barker, handsome, charismatic. All the girls that come to the carousel are immediately attracted to his virile sex appeal. Billy knows how to use this quality for both business and other purposes. Mrs. Mullin, the carousel owner, is keeping him for this and selfish reasons as well. The fact that Billy falls for Julie is almost one of the opposites being attracted to one another. Billy's feelings for Julie are genuine, but he has problems expressing himself and out of frustration, he thrashes out at her. When he finds out that she is pregnant, he realizes that he needs money to take care of her and the baby. This leads him to falling for Jigger's "get rich quick" scheme and his eventual death. This role is extremely demanding, both acting and vocally. Movement and dance ability are not important. Billy is a high baritone, singing such well known numbers as the classic "bench scene" which leads into "If I Loved You," "Soliloquy" and "The Highest Judge of All." For the audition be prepared to sing "If I Loved You" from "Soon you'd leave me" to the end.
Julie Jordan Typical New England young woman of the latter half of the nineteenth century. Julie works running a loom at the local cotton mill and lives at the mill boarding house. She is used to being self sufficient. On the surface, she appears to be quiet and withdrawn, but underneath is extremely sensitive and wise. She truly falls in love with Billy and is patient and forgiving of his rough lifestyle. As the play progresses, we see her grow from a young woman into a caring mother of a fifteen year old daughter. Strong vocal and acting abilities are essential. Movement and dance skills are unimportant. Julie is a soprano and is required to sing the demanding "bench scene" with Billy and "What's the Use of Wonderin.'" For the audition prepare "If I Loved You" from "Soon You'd Leave Me" to the end.
Carrie Pipperidge Julie's best friend. Carrie is much more outgoing than Julie. She speaks her mind, often without thinking beforehand. At the beginning of the play, she has fallen in love with the ambitious and pompous Enoch Snow (who like Billy with Julie is almost Carrie's opposite). Carrie eventually marries Enoch and bares nine children for him. Like Julie, Carrie grows from a young mill girl into a caring mother. Carrie is a demanding vocal role and must also be a strong comedic actress. Movement ability is helpful, but not necessary. Carrie is a soprano and sings "Mister Snow," "When the Children Are Asleep" and important sections of some of the show's big production numbers. For the audition, prepare "Mister Snow" from "Then I'll kiss him" to the end.
Enoch Snow Carrie's fiance. Slightly pompous fisherman with great business and family plans that he does indeed fulfill. He ends up with a successful cannery business and a family of nine children. Enoch considers himself better than Billy and wants Carrie to stay away from Julie for this reason. Enoch is a demanding vocal role requiring comedic skills. He is a tenor and sings "Mister Snow Reprise," "When the Children Are Asleep" and "Geraniums in the Winder." For the audition, prepare "Mister Snow Reprise" from "Then I'll kiss her" to the end.
Nettie Fowler Julie's cousin. Standard Rodgers and Hammerstein "motherly role" (like Aunt Eller, Mother Abbess, Lady Thiang, etc.). Wise and understanding, Nettie must have strong vocal and acting abilities. She is a mezzo and leads the company in "June Is Bustin' Out All Over," "This Was a Real Nice Clambake" and has the show's most famous number "You'll Never Walk Along." For the audition, prepare the entire "You'll Never Walk Alone."
Jigger Craigin Billy's shiftless sailor friend. Sleezy "wharf rat" comic villain of the piece. Character baritone. Must be able to sell a song. Movement ability helpful but not necessary. Jigger sings "Stonecutters Cut It on Stone" and leads the men in "Blow High, Blow Low." For auditions, prepare first verse of "Blow High, Blow Low."
Arminy, Penny, Jennie, Virginia, Susan featured ensemble girls. Will have speaking roles, specialty numbers and solo work. Must be able to sing harmonies. For the audition, sopranos, "If I Loved You;" mezzos and altos, "June Is Bustin' Out All Over."
Seafaring Quartet four men, featured ensemble. Speaking roles, specialty numbers, solo work. Harmony skills important. For the audition, "June Is Bustin' Out All Over."
Non-Singing Speaking Roles
Mrs. Mullin the carousel owner. Tough, been around the block, a widow. Billy's keeper. Overly possessive of him for both business and personal needs.
The Starkeeper and Mrs. Starkeeper keepers of the back gates of heaven, kindly, but strong New England couple. Usually there is only a male role; however, Rodgers and Hammerstein originally conceived this as a couple. Double as Dr. Seldon and Mrs. Seldon, the town physician and his wife.
Brother Joshua and Sister Josepha the heavenly messengers who escort Billy from Earth to Heaven and then, on his return journey to Earth.
David Bascombe wealthy mill owner, the wealthiest man in town.
Timony a policeman.
Enoch Snow, Jr. Carrie and Enoch's teenage son. He's in love with Louise, but his father's prejudices have been passed down to him and stand in his way.
Captain Watson Typical New England "old salt," like the Gorton's fisherman.
School Principal can be male or female, any age or type.
Dancing Principals
Please be aware that Carousel followed Oklahoma! in breaking the ground rules of musical theater. Agnes DeMille continued her legacy with this show, creating some of the most memorable dance roles in musical history.
Louise Billy and Julie's teenage daughter. Has grown up in a one-parent family and has been the victim of small town gossip about her father. Must be a strong actress and exquisite dancer. Dances the lead in the famous Act Two Ballet.
Carnival Boy Louise's ballet partner, extremely strong, virile male dancer.
Hannah and Boatswain lead dancers in "Hornpipe."
June Girl lead dancer in "June" dance.
Carnival Woman principal dance role in ballet.
Ensemble Roles
Needed are actors, singers, dancers and children to appear as various townspeople, sailors, children, carnival characters, etc. Ensemble singing candidates should be familiar with the chorus of "June Is Bustin' Out All Over."
There are many roles to be taken from the ensemble including The Beauties of Europe; Beauties Barker, Juggler and his assistant, Strong Man, Performing Bear and his Ballerina, Clown, Sailor, Sailor's Girl, Mill Girls, Mill Supervisor, Clock, Carnival Vendors, Mrs. Bascombe, Mrs. Watson, Innkeeper, Dancing Carousel Horses, Urchins, Ballet Carnival Troupe, High School Graduates.
Children's Ensemble
Requirements for children are minimal for this show. First and foremost, children must be able to pay attention and react accordingly. Some of the children's roles require some movement while others do not. Vocally, children should be able to carry a tune. Roles for children include:
David Bascombe, Jr., Bessie Bascombe, Jessie Bascombe the wealthiest kids in town.
Young Miss Snow brat, one of Carrie and Enoch's brood.
The Snow Children the other seven kids of Carrie and Enoch
Kid with Strong Man
Assorted Town Kids, Party Guests, etc.

NEW YORK, NY 10018
CASSANDRAS ANGEL - NEW YORK, NY
CASTING:
Alto/belter should be extremely comfortable singing in a contemporary pop genre.
MOM
30s - 40s, a very loving and devoted parent, Cassandras mother faces the challenges of raising a child alone. Dealing with the pressures of career and keeping her home in order, she sometimes finds it difficult to fully appreciate Cassandras imaginative and creative nature. However, at the end of the day, Cassandra is the true treasure of her life. Musical theatre mix sound, not a soprano.
MR. MCQUAINT
40-55, character actor, Cassandras teacher, he spends his days fantasizing about how much better the world would be if all children grew up to be just like him.
But she knows that somewhere along the road she took a wrong turn, having made the choice that ordinary is far less scary. Character belt.
MR. MAYOR
30s 50s, character actor. The Mayor is Cassandras father. Baritenor.
BOY IN THE MOON
13-18 to play 14-ish, boy, teen heartthrob, changed voice. He is Cassandras unseen guide and friend, a bit older than Cassandra, the Boy in the Moon also serves the audience as narrator moving lithely from scene to scene, illuminating the action with his own unique brand of magic. A hidden observer of some of Cassandras most creative moments, the Boy in the Moons main purpose is to convey to Cassandra that as long as she has her imagination, she is never alone.

Jamie
Hey Jagger
LOVED the Commercial Intensive Workshop tonight!!! You really do have amazing energy, and your skills and perception brought out the best in everyone in the class! My biggest problem is making the right choices. Your coaching helped a lot with that, but I still wish I could carry you in my pocket to my next audition I guess I need to take a few more classes from you...
I'm looking forward to attending your casting events!
Thanks again!
Lynn
Dear Jagger,
It was such a delight to finally be able to take your Commercial Intensive class. And while I have been in and out of this business for years and worked on plenty of non-union commercials in Texas, I am ready to take my game to the next level. Your class was just what I needed.
Your commercial copy exercise at the end was worth it's weight in gold. Not only from my personal experience, but from being able to watch everyone else's choices and then the miraculous changes after you had given a new approach to reading the copy.
I am happy to have you as part of my 'arsenal' and look forward to celebrating when I book my big national SAG commercial (Soon! I know it will be soon!)
Mucho mucho thanks!

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your Commercial Intensive last night. Getting a 360 perspective was invaluable. More often than not, instructors dont pay attention to the minute, yet essential details which help the first timer. Its those goods that can make the difference between feeling comfortable, or not, during what can be a stressful time for the uninitiated.
Best
Debbie Friedlander
Jagger
I had to run out right after class for a meeting so I did not get to tell you in person how absolutely wonderful your class was this evening! It was great to finally get to meet you in person, and I can not wait to sign up for more of your workshops/classes. Thank you!
Meghan Moore
Hi, I was in your recent commercial intensive, I liked the vibe and would like to take your upcoming offer for ACTING FOR BEGINNERS & COMEDIC ACTING (with a show)!
Thank you,
Shino Frances
Here is what "some" had to say ...
I attended Jagger's Commercial Intensive last night (Jan 7th) and it was a three hour whirlwind that ended too quickly. In addition to doing a realistic mock Audition that left you with butterflies and Jagger's helpful and honest comments, we did a group commercial read of different commercials. It was very interesting to hear a bunch of people doing different reads and then to hear Jagger's comments for everyone. I took a lot from it. It was the real deal!! I highly recommend it. Thanks.
Joe Assante
Hey Jagger,
Thanks again for having me in your commercial class on Monday night. Looking forward to some industry nights in the future!
Kevin
Thank you, Jagger. I found the class to be very valuable. You'll definitely be seeing me in your classes and workshops again.
Best,
Maxwell Zener
Today was terrific. Your classes are always chock full of good stuff, and today was no exception. You not only got fantastic results out of each of us, you taught us how to "own" that ability. In a way, you took us all behind the magician's curtain, and showed us how to perform the tricks on our own. Amazing.
I am totally ready to get my SAG card and make the big buckeroos.
Mimi Weisbond
I REALLY enjoyed your class. I have a few commercial classes already I yours was very much worth my time. I feel even better about going out there to audition. Also, thank you so much for staying after and letting me ask you additional questions. I really appreciate it. I will definitely be taking more workshops through your program. Yay!
Jodi Skeris
Dear Jagger,
Get this! Soon after I took your Commercial Intensive I had an opportunity to audition for an AMEX Commercial. After a few days I got the call back. This was my first audition for a professional advertisement and I was able in a short amount of time apply what you taught in class. What can I say...Thank you Jagger.
Your classes are short and sweet and to the point and of course affordable. I really like the fact that it does not take a long amount of time to learn important aspects of acting and to present yourself with confidence. With all the tips and remarks that you gave me so far I feel I can tackle any audition room! For that: Kudos to you. Mucho Kudos. Looking forward to many more Classes and Performances with you.
Monika Baskiewicz
Hey Jagger,
Thank you for the commercial intensive. It was $ well spent - I learned a ton! I'm very excited for the upcoming commercial season.
Ashton Giaume
Jagger
Thanks again for the great class. I had a lot of fun and can't believe how much I learned so quickly!!!
Julia Price
JK, thank you for the informative class last night. And I really enjoyed the faux audition and feedback.
I hope to arrange my schedule for the October event, thank you for the opportunity to participate.
Best,
Robin Haden
Jagger, i was trying to wait around to say Thanks , but the line was kinda long & i didn't want to impinge on your down time before your 4:30 class. Anyway, although i've been making my living as an Actor since '96, Commercial acting is something i'm a novice at. I've booked two local (Phila.) lottery commercials & auditioned and had a callback for one Nat'l , but that's it. I really enjoyed your class on Sunday and gained a lot of solid, practical info for when (and if) i should get signed by a Commercial Agent. Your energy was infectious, your knowledge of the subject matter impressive and i really liked the improv you employed to get us to reach for another level during our "take two" commercial reads. Bravo! I look forward to taking another one of your classes in the near future. Hopefully, i'll get to work with you on a film or tv show one day. Regards,
B. A. Wilson
I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the commercial class this weekend. You really just tell it like it is and that's exactly what I needed to hear. I would love to take one of your acting classes but I'm going back to CA soon (I'm from a small town in northern CA not L.A. so you don't have to hate me haha). Hopefully I will get another chance next time I am in NY. Thanks again for everything, I will definitely be recommending you to friends!
Best Wishes,
C. Huls :)
Thank you I really appreciate the information, the experience was great I will definitely be in touch for other classes. also signing up for the agent interviews you were talking about. thanks I will stay in touch
Best regards
A. Izzo
Hi Jagger,
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for such great class today!
A. Norris
Jagger, I loved your class. It was packed with great and useful information and was worth every penny and every minute. Thank you for such an effective and awesome class! It was great!
S. Foshee
Hi Jagger!
Thanks so much for the class yesterday, I had a blast! It was great to get solid tips from someone who's been booking. I especially think creating a before/after the product will really help me. And it was really great to be cast in your mock-commercial, I definitely left feeling confident!
Cheers,
J. Montosi
I had a great time!
Thanks for all the great information, some things I already knew, but notes about agents and specifics about meeting them were invaluable! Thanks, plus the class is just good ole fun!
I'll contact you about the next class for sure!
Best,
A. Woodward
Hi Jagger
How do you keep up that incredible energy? This morning I feel like I got hit by a truck. Yesterday took out a lot out energy, (but put back in far more :) It was fun and exciting, but not without some high anxiety. I am a little shell shocked today, the class stirred up the bees in my emotional hive. I want you to know that in braving your acting class was just what I needed, and I thank you so much for that. Have a good week, and will see you again on Sunday
D. Mayer
Jagger,
I had a fantastic time at the intensive. I got a lot of information and clarification of information I'd already had. Also, I'd heard a lot about commercials, but didn't really think they were viable for me at all. Tonight made me rethink that as I'm making another push to get into the business (the money figures you threw around don't sound bad at all either). In addition, I hadn't performed in a -very- long time, so it was nice to get up there in front of people again. I remembered everything I've missed about performing.
So again, thanks so much.
C. Kess
Jagger
I must say, I attend few of this type of class, because I'm never sure what I will get out of them. You, my friend, made me a believer in your class. You are no- nonsense, upfront and honest guy, and boy did I learn. It was terrific, and I recommend your Commercial Intensive class to anyone who is serious about his or her career.
You are the best!
Bob L., Connecticut
Your Commercial class was outstanding, Jagger!
Role playing commercial auditions was very useful and your feedback was extremely beneficial.
The most valuable part was your insight on understanding the message behind the copy (this will give us an edge on the competition). I greatly appreciate your expertise and enjoyed the class tremendously!
OL
Thank you so much Jagger! It was a great class and I feel much more prepared for attacking copy and putting my own unique, entertaining interpretation on it!
Thanks again....
PO
Hey Jagger -
Just wanted to thank you for all the info you pumped into me yesterday. I learned more than I thought I would and you will most likely be seeing me in another class soon!
GM
Hey Jagger,
Thanks for the awesome class today! (I would have thanked you in person, but there was a massive crowd forming around the wise teacher...so I peaced out.)
Had a great time, and I'll definitely be seeing you again!
Take care!
AG
Jagger,
Your commercial intensive class was just that, intense. I learned more in a three hours with you than I have as long as I've been studying acting. Thank you for being the real deal. I also wanted reschedule a career help session for next week as well as get information on your on-going acting class.
JS
Dear Jagger,
Bottom line: What it worth it? Answer: Absolutely! The most affordable acting classes around! Even with a rebate, higher priced classes can't touch you!
Even with a discount and a rebate, higher priced classes can't touch you!
Bottom line: Did I learn anything? Answer: Absolutely! A more than effective, efficient approach to acting. It's a win-win situation.
Thank you,
RV
Jagger
You are a svengali ...loved your methods.
SC
Jagger - Thanks for the great workshop yesterday. I feel like I got a lot out of it. Even watching other actors make their choices and read their copy was educational. Thanks for keeping things moving along and fun. I hope I get a chance to work with you in the future.
GG
Dear Jagger,
Thank you so much for the commercial intensive. It was very helpful. Meeting you in person was one of the best parts, finally! I hope to continue to get to know you through classes and castings. Have a wonderful day
HG
(4 days later) - I just got a callback for a commercial. I did not book it but, a callback is just as fabulous. I am also freelancing with another commercial agent after she heard my commercial copy. Thank you so much for class. I will remember that the trick is no tricks, just always be myself relating to the product and circumstances.
So ... JOIN THE FUN!
