CASTING CALL - CHINESE/ASIAN ACTORS

Funkbuddha Productions is currently casting for a number of Chinese roles
in the upcoming production of 'The Long March'.

'The Long March' is a feature film which recounts a true epic story in
Chinese history. Directed by British filmmaker Jay Purcell the film will be
shot entirely on location in China later this year.

What we are producing now is a short teaser for our investors both here in
the States and the UK. We will be shooting the teaser here in Seattle and at
locations in Eastern Washington.

We are currently casting for the following Chinese roles. Although we are
looking for Chinese actors, this teaser will be shot in English. Other Asian
and mixed actors are welcomed as well. The ability to speak the Chinese
language would however be a great advantage.

*MALE LEAD
20-30, Chinese

*MALE SOLDIER
20-40, Asian, Non-Speaking

*YOUNG WOMAN
20's, Asian, Non-Speaking

*OLDER WOMAN
30-50's, Asian, Non-Speaking

*EXTRAS
A number of extras are sought. All mixtures of age range and gender are
welcomed.

Casting sessions will be held this weekend (Sat & Sun) in downtown Seattle.

A target date for shooting is set for the end of next week (28th onwards).

Attic Theatre Audition Posting

The Attic Theatre will be holding auditions for it's June show: All I Really Need To Know, I Learned in Kindergarten.

The show will be performed at the air conditioned Theater at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA - June 13th thru 22nd. Auditions will be held March 6th & 7th 7pm to 10pm with callbacks on Sat March 8th from 9 to noon.

Need: 10 to 14 actors age range early 20's to mid 60's. Also for the audition, actors should prepare a monologue and a song not to exceed 3 minutes. There will me a mileage stipend and comp tickets provided. This is the musical adaptation.

Audition location is Woodinville Alliance Church - 13940 NE 166th St Woodinville, WA 98072. This show is directed by Jane Reinhardt.

AUDITION: 12th Night & Hamlet - Shakespeare in the Park

HELLO THERE!
Looking for something fun to do this summer? Want to get outside and enjoy
the sun? Do you like performing in front of large crowds? Then come play
in the parks with GreenStage! Each summer we perform for free to around
7000 people at parks in Seattle, Lynnwood, Burien, Redmond and Fall City.
And every summer we have a blast.

This summer, we celebrate our 20th Anniversary Season!
And it promises to be a good one - the shows are:
HAMLET - directed by Susanna Wilson
TWELTH NIGHT - directed by Amelia Meckler

All roles in both shows are open! That's right... ALL roles.
We are looking for actors with experience in outdoor theatre and/or
Shakespeare, so if that is you, audition already!

Here's the season schedule: Rehearsals are weekday evenings and Saturdays
starting June 2. Both shows run from July 11 through August 16. Shows are
Thurs-Sun evenings, and afternoons on Sat and Sun. Each play performs 2-4
times per weekend.

Auditions dates and times:
Sunday, March 2 - 12-6pm
Monday, March 3 - 6-10pm

Callbacks will be March 9 and 10
All positions are Non-Equity. We pay a stipend of $400 at the end of the run.
