Casting Asian Talent for a Video Game Commercial - Portland, OR

Portland, Oregon casting company is currently casting Asians for a
major video game commercial.
To audition you must:
Be an Asian or Asian/Caucasian mix man or woman 30-50 years old
Be an Asian or Asian/Caucasian mix boy or girl between 11-17 years old
Be proficient in one or more of the following: yoga, aerobics, push-
ups, dance, hula-hooping or soccer
Sound like you or one of your friends? Here are the details…
AUDITION: 2/12/08 (Tue)
CALLBACKS: 2/18/08 (Mon – afternoon)
SHOOTS: Week of 2/25/08 (talent will work 1
or more days)
PAY: $500/day + $1000 usage + additional
options for print

1. Full name
2. Age
3. Skill level in the following activities (1 is low, 5 is high)
o Yoga, aerobics, push-ups, dance, hula-hooping, and soccer

Actress (age 40 - 75 years old) needed for University of Washington
Seattle dissertation film.
Only one day of work on Saturday or Sunday of a weekend in February.
Opportunity to work with a young fun creative cast and crew.
The movie will be shot on film and will have a public screening. As
this is a student film, there will be no pay but meals and
transportation included.

30 Second Commercial Spot - Newcastle

Actor needed for 30 second commercial spot about a financial firm specializing in retirement, produced for demo purposes only. Spot will be shot in New Castle; date TBD, but most likely the third or fourth week of February.
Requirements:
Male
Age 45-60
Needs to be an obviously older man, preferably with white or gray hair.
Shoot will be outdoors on one location only in Newcastle. While we plan to shoot when sunny, it will most likely be cold, and should last from 2-5 hours.
No pay for this gig, however a finalized DVD/electronic copy of the spot will be delivered for use in your demo reel.

I am looking for two women, ages 18 to 35 to play choir members in a music
video shoot for this weekend, February 9th on the Tulalip reservation. This
is a non-paying gig, but food will be provided. Your shoot time will be less
then two hours and you will receive a copy of the finished video for your

Upside Productions needs someone who can write dialogue.
This is a 3 act, feature length, independent movie with a completed story progression. Some of the scenes are outlined but dialogue that doesn't totally suck is something we are in dire need of.
Send us a few pages of dialogue to review. Full stories are not needed and we are not looking for anything amazing or epic. This is a comedy/drama about two friends on an intense adventure that puts them in contact with all sorts of strange characters. (More specifics to the person we hire of course.)
Pay is negotiable. We are not Hollywood but we can cut you a decent check.

Actress wanted for lead role in short film:
We are looking for an actress for a short film (10mins), Horizon, to be shot in the Olympia area over the next few weeks. Auditions will be held at the Evergreen State College this Saturday the 9th from 1-5pm
Room: Library 1326.
The film is about a junior oceanographer, who is busy with the hum drum, 9-5 life of paying bills and crawling up the economic ladder. One night she encounters something extraordinary in her lab, lured by it she finds herself quickly straying from her routine to the unfamiliar.
You: Woman, must look late 20's- mid 30s, clean cut and professional; think working in the corporate world. Must have a positive attitude!
One shoot will take place underwater in a pool, fully clothed.
No aquatic experience necessary, but must be confident in the water and be able to swim etc.
Two hundred dollars compensation on completion; professional photographic services available for creation of a portfolio if desired.
Food provided on set and transport if necessary, as well as credit in completed film; a copy of the finished DVD will also be provided.
We plan on submitting finished film to film festivals and will be screening publicly and on the web in June 08.
Auditions will be held at the Evergreen State College this Saturday the 9th from 1-5pm
