If I were in your position I wouldn't try this without
going through a bit of learning first.
If I may suggest...
Start with something a bit smaller. Say a rabbit or cat.
Work with several different resins/silicones. Some silicones
like platinum cures will not cure properly when applied to
certain clays.
Learn to make up a multi part molds and use mother molds
for support.
If you want hollow, you will need some way to rotate the casting
while it sets up. Or. you will need to make up say two half castings and
secure them together.
When you have the process figured out on something small
you can scale up. Otherwise you run the risk of ruining the
work you have put into your model.
Read up on how it's done. There are a number of books available.
Two that I like are mentioned on my web site under "resources".
Enjoy the process and don't rush!
