OVERVIEW: Docu-Drama shot on multiple formats, 90% done (shot and edited) and very excited about the festival run next year. Quality film that will stand out and be noticed; we are exploring the reality of what it means to be famous, mixing actual taped investigation testimony with fictional elements. Original score by Moby, and cinematography from three very prominent shooters in NYC.
SCENE BREAKDOWN: we are casting for a one day shoot to be incorporated into the film as it stands now. The shoot is basically recreating an early 50's variety show alla 'The Show of Shows' or 'The Late Show'. Our bend on the show will be within the husk of an innocent and more naive 50's format, the content will be very modern, and at times, pushing the envelope of what might be acceptable. Each role we are casting is meant to shock the viewer into realizing exactly how far we have come since those simple times (much like Natural Born Killers but without the drugs). See individual breakdowns for specifics.
Male / 31-40 yrs. / White.
we are looking for a male actor to play the 'Jack Hannah' animal trainer for the show. No animal experience necessary (we'll be using a very exotic hamster)
Either gender / 11-14 yrs. / White.
The character is the 'typical' child actor, forced into showbiz by their parents. Innocent and cute while being interviewed by the host, but the clip of the film they are promoting reveals a different person; it's meant to shock the audience by seeing a child in a very adult role i.e. Requiem for a Dream, or American History X. THERE IS A PROFOUND AMOUNT OF CURSING IN THIS ROLE, and all parents must understand that clearly. We understand that this will be difficult to cast, however, we require a very talented actor for this dynamic and extremely unique role.
Female / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
we are looking for three girls to be do-wop singers for the band that plays on-stage. No singing talent required as you will be lip singing but there are explicit lyrics, be advised.

Lewis R. Chambers, founder and president of The Bethel Agency, will
celebrate the fortieth anniversary of his agency in late February of
2008. Originally organized as an agency representing photojournalists
and "industrial photographers," Bethel began successfully representing
writers within two or three weeks of opening its doors. An amazing
array of magazine stories and books, published worldwide, followed.
Chambers represented Michael Shurtleff and Fred Silver on their books,
AUDITION: Everything The Actor Needs To Know To Get The Part (Walker &
Co.)and AUDITIONING FOR MUSICAL THEATRE (Newmarket Press),
respectively.
More than twenty-five years ago, The Bethel Agency was granted the
first of its three franchises (A.E.A.) and began a great, fun ride on
the roller coaster ride of representing union affiliated performers.
Actors from the Bethel client list have worked in every medium -- from
cruise ships to Broadway, from industrial films to commercials and
major features, from music videos to major prime-time sitcoms.
Success has also been achieved for any number of nonunion actors, as well.
Watch for two Bethel actors in THE SAVAGES, with Laura Linney, Philip
Bosco, and Philip Seymour Hoffman --- wonderful Marvin Chatinover, who
played Dr. Walter Jerome for four and a half years on ED (NBC
prime-time), will appear on Nickelodeon's NAKED BROTHERS BAND ... and
the terrific Marika Daciuk, who has just completed work on NICK AND
NORAH'S INFINITE PLAYLIST, following her work in another feature film
and a television movie.
Chambers has conducted a vast array of seminars up and down the East
Coast and teaches acting from time to time, as well. He maintains an
office in Atlantic City and a satellite in the Orlando area in
Florida.
~~~~~
Some accolades from the above classes:
My dear Jagger,
You've created a performing monster!
Not only do I credit you with getting my SAG card via a principal role, but now I've booked a union industrial to go along with a commercial print job......all handled by one of New York/LA's top agencies. All told, the gig is worth over $6000. You taught me how to handle any audition with self- confidence. That confidence comes through even in print "go-sees." AND you encouraged me to "stay in the game" even though I was 60+ when I started this second career. I'll be booking more private time so watch out. Thank you so much.
Rita Cronin
Hey Jagger
Yesterday's On-Camera Audition Class hit a grand-slam home run! As usual, your class was fun, upbeat, enjoyable - and extremely informative, helpful and useful. You and Joyce made a great combination, providing both insightful advice and specific, constructive feedback on the audition process in a very nurturing and supportive manner. As always there were several opportunities to perform, providing the maximum amount of experience and feedback in the shortest period of time. All of your classes are great! but this one I think is the best.
Thanks again to you and Joyce!
Stevenn Beck
PS. When will this class be expanded? I'm in!!! :-)
Jagger
I'm glad I took your class. It taught me many things & showed me once again that I love being in a room with other actors learning their craft, makes me "feel a part of" and that my dream is realistic, and can, and will be fulfilled. Thanks for everything..
Now  about your teaching. I am a professor and teach theater at Hunter and English at BMCC. You teach like I try to teach my students. You kept me interested, & all the points I wanted to see covered in the class were covered. I trusted that you knew what you were talking about, and came away with a sense of energy about acting that I have not felt in a long time. I would recommend your class to anyone who wants to take a class on any level with you. Once again, thanks for everything you do for us. See you soon
Sincerely,
April Andres
An actor's dream for success costs a lot of money and sometimes what we get in return lacks in quality. This is far from the case with Jagger Kaye's classes. Yes, the cost is low, but it's what you get out of the course that means more. I had the pleasure of meeting Jagger one year when I participated in his annual A Very Jaggered X-Mas charity show. I was taken by how this larger than life man could make people laugh all the while doing something wonderful for children he would never meet. Then I joined his beginning acting class. I was blow away by his professionalism and his ability to communicate the information in a constructive way. The interaction between student and teacher was an vital part of his methods. Immediately following this class I booked a short film. I signed on for his first Comedic Acting class and enjoyed every minute of it. We all prepared very hard for the performances and when one cast member had to pull out of the show at the last minute, I was proud when Jagger asked me to step up. It showed he had faith in me and my ability. Due to my new found confidence from this class, I booked an indy tv pilot and an indy feature film will be released to film festivals this fall. I am very thankful to not only have learned from someone who knows his craft but also continue to participate in a wonderful charity event. Thank you Jagger for everything you do!
Kimberly Amato
Hi Jagger, your "On Camera Workshop" was so worthwhile I can't wait till you have it again. I learned so much, from what colors look good on camera, to makeup, to jewelry and how to audition with confidence. It's great to see yourself on camera, this gives you a chance to really look at yourself and fix what's not working. I never knew that I closed my eyes so much that it took all of the energy out of my audition, that's one tip that I will NEVER forget.
Once again, you hit it out of the park!
Catherine Pierce
Jagger,
I was really impressed by your class today. I've kind of been bragging about it all night! I just re-entered the legit world this fall, and of all the workshops I've taken, I learned the most from yours (On-Camera Workshop). I am soooo sold on your classes and excited to be in your Comedic Acting Class now!
You are a sweet, endearing and supportive acting coach who will fight for talent to discover new levels of their character.
Thanks again!
Jewel Elizabeth
Hey Jagger,
I found your class very productive and helpful. Even though we learn about all these techniques, it becomes hard to apply if we don't practice. So I thank you for always reminding us to practice and encouraging us.
Thanks, your on camera audition class was great. I do want to take your monologue class, so let me know how you want me to register.
Thank you,
Jyoti
Hey Jagger.
Thanks so much for the on-camera workshop on Saturday. I've taken a few film classes and yours was a refreshing change. We just got right to business, attacked the work AND had fun. So thank-you for that. I found it very helpful. Hope to take your commercial class soon!
Lian-Marie Holmes
Jagger,
I really learned a lot today and it got me over most of my heebie jeebies with regard to auditioning in front of a camera & the rest will come with experience.
