Little HIbiscus Productions, a brand new theater
company is casting for it's first show, "Pizza Man" by
Darlene Craviotto.
Seeking 1 actor mid twenties- early thirties, any
ethnicity to play the Pizza Man- Attractive, cocky
with a vulnerability he tries to cover up.
The performances will be April 10-13 at the Times
Square Arts Center.
Rehearsals being March 20th
Non Union, Non Paying.

Blackfriars Repertory Theatre is holding non-equity auditions for the premier production of a new play, Dante's Hope, by Harry Cornelius Cronin. Dante's Hope, a drama, is a modern retelling of a medieval French legend transposed to present-day Mexico and the United States. The Blessed Virgin Mary (Our Lady of Guadalupe) contends with the devil (a mariachi band member) for the soul of a dead gang member.
Seeking Hispanic and Hispanic-looking actors (male and female, 20s-30s) and also female Hispanic singers, all ranges.
La Virgen � warm, strong, compassionate, efficient, intense, full of passion and enthusiasm, in her thirties
Dante - leader of a Mexican gang who is angry, cruel, and heartless, in his 20s;
Gloria Salazar - beautiful, warm, earnest and caring, in her 20s.
There will be a stipend.

TERI Late 30s. Paula's overweight lovable slacker younger sister. An underachieving bartender with a rock n' roll past. She would definitely be at home on a Harley. Paula accurately describes Teri's performing style as "Meatloaf with tits".
ANGELA Early 20s. Paula's overweight daughter. Able to play a high school senior/college freshman. Angela is an extremely uncomfortable, tightly wound young lady - with the soul of a rock star just waiting to burst out. Requires broad physical comedy.

CHARLEY CHAN / ROSAMUND (Male, 20s–early 30s, Bari-tenor, ASIAN AMERICAN, or other diverse ethnicity preferred.) Chan is an expert imaginary detective; very shrewd, very thoughtful. Rosamund is a very dour child in the vein of Edward Gorey or Charles Addams.
SHERLOCK HOLMES / PLAIN HEX (Male, 20s–early 30s, Bari-tenor) Holmes, the stereotypical British sleuth; Plain Hex, one of Rosamund’s crazy cats.
NERO WOLFE / BIG HEX (Male, 20s–early 30s, Bari-tenor) Wolfe, American detective, portly and grandiose in his investigation. Big Hex, the biggest (and craziest?) of Rosamund’s cats.
FANG / SMALL HEX / HARRY (Male, 20s, Bari-tenor) Fang is Annie’s zealous and charismatic pet dog; Small Hex, the smallest of Rosamund’s crazy cats; Harry is Annie’s 2 year old little brother who is obsessed with the color red and painting.

I'm having a reading of a new play I desperately need two to four actors for the reading of "A Nightmare Play" by ME Shawn Belpanno. The Roles are:
The Alpha- 20�s, soldier, the ultimate male, strong and fit adult man, strong bass voice, some physical prowess. Kills and fights for what he wants, this man never questions an order.
Other Characters- any age, ability to do voices and be different characters.
Mother, 40�s (But any age female will do.) kind comical woman, loves her children more than life itself.
Stage Direction, any age, clear audible voice.
Rehearsals are very soon Feb 19th and 26th in Brooklyn and the reading itself is on March 2nd at the Producer's Club in NYC
