DID YOU MISS OUR LAST SOLD-OUT INTENSIVE (Feb 4th)?
Hi Jagger!
Thanks for an amazing class last night! I will definitely be looking into more classes with you!!
-Jamie
Hey Jagger
LOVED the Commercial Intensive Workshop tonight!!! You really do have amazing energy, and your skills and perception brought out the best in everyone in the class! My biggest problem is making the right choices. Your coaching helped a lot with that, but I still wish I could carry you in my pocket to my next audition I guess I need to take a few more classes from you...
I'm looking forward to attending your casting events!
Thanks again!
Lynn
Dear Jagger,
It was such a delight to finally be able to take your Commercial Intensive class. And while I have been in and out of this business for years and worked on plenty of non-union commercials in Texas, I am ready to take my game to the next level. Your class was just what I needed.
Your commercial copy exercise at the end was worth it's weight in gold. Not only from my personal experience, but from being able to watch everyone else's choices and then the miraculous changes after you had given a new approach to reading the copy.
I am happy to have you as part of my 'arsenal' and look forward to celebrating when I book my big national SAG commercial (Soon! I know it will be soon!)
Mucho mucho thanks!
Kim Chapman

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your Commercial Intensive last night. Getting a 360 perspective was invaluable. More often than not, instructors dont pay attention to the minute, yet essential details which help the first timer. Its those goods that can make the difference between feeling comfortable, or not, during what can be a stressful time for the uninitiated.
Best
Debbie Friedlander
Jagger
I had to run out right after class for a meeting so I did not get to tell you in person how absolutely wonderful your class was this evening! It was great to finally get to meet you in person, and I can not wait to sign up for more of your workshops/classes. Thank you!
Meghan Moore
Hi, I was in your recent commercial intensive, I liked the vibe and would like to take your upcoming offer for ACTING FOR BEGINNERS & COMEDIC ACTING (with a show)!
Thank you,
Shino Frances
Here is what "some" had to say ...
I attended Jagger's Commercial Intensive last night (Jan 7th) and it was a three hour whirlwind that ended too quickly. In addition to doing a realistic mock Audition that left you with butterflies and Jagger's helpful and honest comments, we did a group commercial read of different commercials. It was very interesting to hear a bunch of people doing different reads and then to hear Jagger's comments for everyone. I took a lot from it. It was the real deal!! I highly recommend it. Thanks.
Joe Assante
Hey Jagger,
Thanks again for having me in your commercial class on Monday night. Looking forward to some industry nights in the future!
Kevin
Thank you, Jagger. I found the class to be very valuable. You'll definitely be seeing me in your classes and workshops again.
Best,
Maxwell Zener
Today was terrific. Your classes are always chock full of good stuff, and today was no exception. You not only got fantastic results out of each of us, you taught us how to "own" that ability. In a way, you took us all behind the magician's curtain, and showed us how to perform the tricks on our own. Amazing.
I am totally ready to get my SAG card and make the big buckeroos.
Mimi Weisbond
I REALLY enjoyed your class. I have a few commercial classes already I yours was very much worth my time. I feel even better about going out there to audition. Also, thank you so much for staying after and letting me ask you additional questions. I really appreciate it. I will definitely be taking more workshops through your program. Yay!
Jodi Skeris
Dear Jagger,
Get this! Soon after I took your Commercial Intensive I had an opportunity to audition for an AMEX Commercial. After a few days I got the call back. This was my first audition for a professional advertisement and I was able in a short amount of time apply what you taught in class. What can I say...Thank you Jagger.
Your classes are short and sweet and to the point and of course affordable. I really like the fact that it does not take a long amount of time to learn important aspects of acting and to present yourself with confidence. With all the tips and remarks that you gave me so far I feel I can tackle any audition room! For that: Kudos to you. Mucho Kudos. Looking forward to many more Classes and Performances with you.
Monika Baskiewicz
Hey Jagger,
Thank you for the commercial intensive. It was $ well spent - I learned a ton! I'm very excited for the upcoming commercial season.
Ashton Giaume
Jagger
Thanks again for the great class. I had a lot of fun and can't believe how much I learned so quickly!!!
Julia Price
JK, thank you for the informative class last night. And I really enjoyed the faux audition and feedback.
I hope to arrange my schedule for the October event, thank you for the opportunity to participate.
Best,
Robin Haden
Jagger, i was trying to wait around to say Thanks , but the line was kinda long & i didn't want to impinge on your down time before your 4:30 class. Anyway, although i've been making my living as an Actor since '96, Commercial acting is something i'm a novice at. I've booked two local (Phila.) lottery commercials & auditioned and had a callback for one Nat'l , but that's it. I really enjoyed your class on Sunday and gained a lot of solid, practical info for when (and if) i should get signed by a Commercial Agent. Your energy was infectious, your knowledge of the subject matter impressive and i really liked the improv you employed to get us to reach for another level during our "take two" commercial reads. Bravo! I look forward to taking another one of your classes in the near future. Hopefully, i'll get to work with you on a film or tv show one day. Regards,
B. A. Wilson
I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the commercial class this weekend. You really just tell it like it is and that's exactly what I needed to hear. I would love to take one of your acting classes but I'm going back to CA soon (I'm from a small town in northern CA not L.A. so you don't have to hate me haha). Hopefully I will get another chance next time I am in NY. Thanks again for everything, I will definitely be recommending you to friends!
Best Wishes,
C. Huls :)
Thank you I really appreciate the information, the experience was great I will definitely be in touch for other classes. also signing up for the agent interviews you were talking about. thanks I will stay in touch
Best regards
A. Izzo
Hi Jagger,
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for such great class today!
A. Norris
Jagger, I loved your class. It was packed with great and useful information and was worth every penny and every minute. Thank you for such an effective and awesome class! It was great!
S. Foshee
Hi Jagger!
Thanks so much for the class yesterday, I had a blast! It was great to get solid tips from someone who's been booking. I especially think creating a before/after the product will really help me. And it was really great to be cast in your mock-commercial, I definitely left feeling confident!
Cheers,
J. Montosi
I had a great time!
Thanks for all the great information, some things I already knew, but notes about agents and specifics about meeting them were invaluable! Thanks, plus the class is just good ole fun!
I'll contact you about the next class for sure!
Best,
A. Woodward
Hi Jagger
How do you keep up that incredible energy? This morning I feel like I got hit by a truck. Yesterday took out a lot out energy, (but put back in far more :) It was fun and exciting, but not without some high anxiety. I am a little shell shocked today, the class stirred up the bees in my emotional hive. I want you to know that in braving your acting class was just what I needed, and I thank you so much for that. Have a good week, and will see you again on Sunday
D. Mayer
Jagger,
I had a fantastic time at the intensive. I got a lot of information and clarification of information I'd already had. Also, I'd heard a lot about commercials, but didn't really think they were viable for me at all. Tonight made me rethink that as I'm making another push to get into the business (the money figures you threw around don't sound bad at all either). In addition, I hadn't performed in a -very- long time, so it was nice to get up there in front of people again. I remembered everything I've missed about performing.
So again, thanks so much.
C. Kess
Jagger
I must say, I attend few of this type of class, because I'm never sure what I will get out of them. You, my friend, made me a believer in your class. You are no- nonsense, upfront and honest guy, and boy did I learn. It was terrific, and I recommend your Commercial Intensive class to anyone who is serious about his or her career.
You are the best!
Bob L., Connecticut
Your Commercial class was outstanding, Jagger!
Role playing commercial auditions was very useful and your feedback was extremely beneficial.
The most valuable part was your insight on understanding the message behind the copy (this will give us an edge on the competition). I greatly appreciate your expertise and enjoyed the class tremendously!
OL
Thank you so much Jagger! It was a great class and I feel much more prepared for attacking copy and putting my own unique, entertaining interpretation on it!
Thanks again....
PO
Hey Jagger -
Just wanted to thank you for all the info you pumped into me yesterday. I learned more than I thought I would and you will most likely be seeing me in another class soon!
GM
Hey Jagger,
Thanks for the awesome class today! (I would have thanked you in person, but there was a massive crowd forming around the wise teacher...so I peaced out.)
Had a great time, and I'll definitely be seeing you again!
Take care!
AG
Jagger,
Your commercial intensive class was just that, intense. I learned more in a three hours with you than I have as long as I've been studying acting. Thank you for being the real deal. I also wanted reschedule a career help session for next week as well as get information on your on-going acting class.
JS
Dear Jagger,
Bottom line: What it worth it? Answer: Absolutely! The most affordable acting classes around! Even with a rebate, higher priced classes can't touch you!
Even with a discount and a rebate, higher priced classes can't touch you!
Bottom line: Did I learn anything? Answer: Absolutely! A more than effective, efficient approach to acting. It's a win-win situation.
Thank you,
RV
Jagger
You are a svengali ...loved your methods.
SC
Jagger - Thanks for the great workshop yesterday. I feel like I got a lot out of it. Even watching other actors make their choices and read their copy was educational. Thanks for keeping things moving along and fun. I hope I get a chance to work with you in the future.
GG
Dear Jagger,
Thank you so much for the commercial intensive. It was very helpful. Meeting you in person was one of the best parts, finally! I hope to continue to get to know you through classes and castings. Have a wonderful day
HG
(4 days later) - I just got a callback for a commercial. I did not book it but, a callback is just as fabulous. I am also freelancing with another commercial agent after she heard my commercial copy. Thank you so much for class. I will remember that the trick is no tricks, just always be myself relating to the product and circumstances.
So ... JOIN THE FUN!

THE PARADE Columbia University
After their father leaves for work in his blue jacket and yellow sweater, Zo knits and Aris, her teenage brother, plays with toy ships. Aris, standing by the window, describes to Zo what initially looks like a parade to him: closed shops, roped-off streets, a covered "statue" in the square, swarming crowds, boy scouts parading, a marching band, and mounted police. However, the "parade" turns out to be an execution when guard dogs appear on the scene and the unveilled "statue" proves to be a guillotine. A handcuffed man in a blue jacket and a yellow sweater is dragged in to be executed. The crowd tries to stop the execution, the scouts beat the people back, the policemen shoot into the crowd, and the dogs tear the handcuffed man to pieces. Zo and Aris, standing at the window, realize that the officer in charge saw them witnessing the slaughter and is sending his men up to their room.

The Marriage of Bette and Boo Equity Principal Auditions
Roundabout Theatre Company
at the Laura Pels Theatre
Playwright: Christopher Durang
Director: Walter Bobbie
Casting Director: Carrie Gardner
1st rehearsal: May 13, 2008. Runs: June 13 September 7, 2008
Seeking:
Matt:
Mid to late 20s. Matt is the narrator of the play. He is intelligent and has a sense of humor. Matt is in a way a typical child of dysfunctional parents in that at times we can see how much he is affected by his family and at other times see how much he has shutdown become detached. He grew up quickly and even as a child seems to be more like a little adult. Seeking an actor who can confidently guide the audience through the play. Must have a good sense of comedy and deadpan delivery.
Soot Hudlocke:
Mid to Late 50s. Boos mother. Upper class. She is the wife of Karl who is persistently insulting and cruel to her throughout the play. Soot reacts to Karls insults as if everything he says is amusing and delightful (in fact a key to Soots character is her laugh) The dichotomy of Karls behavior and how Soot responds to it is where a lot of the comedy with this character comes from. Reality scares Soot and therefore she pretends that everything is fine.
Emily Brennan:
Late 20s to Early 30s. Sister of Bette and Joan. Emily is vulnerable, sweet and a little slower than the rest. She is torn up by guilt and believes that everything bad that happens is somehow her fault. She spends a lot of time praying , asking for forgiveness and worrying whether or not she has been truly forgiven She will at one point end up in a rest home for nerves. Seeking a great comedic actress.
Margaret Brennan:
Mid to Late 50s. Bettes mother. Margaret is very charming and quite enjoys being the matriarch. She believes that one shouldnt talk about unpleasant things and in turn we often hear her say Lets not talk about it. She enjoys the feeling of being needed by her children and so likes it when they have problems.
Karl Hudlocke:
Mid to Late 50s. Karl is intelligent and upper class. Karl is a misanthrope and a realist, he sees things as they are and doesnt like what he sees. Karl is always insulting his wife and often times Bette as well. He believes that people are stupid and foolish and doesnt mind bluntly telling them so.
Fr. Donnally:
60s. Father Donnally becomes Bettes confessor and, in a way, family therapist. He is a kind man but can become quite flustered and irritated by Bettes family. This frustration turns into some great comedic moments. Seeking a great actor with excellent comedic skills and timing.
The following roles have been CAST. Actors auditioning will be considered for possible replacements should they become necessary.
Bette Brennan: CAST. TBA
Boo Hudlocke: CAST. TBA
Joan Brennan: CAST. TBA

AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’ – A 30th Anniversary Production. The outrageously prodigious comic and musical soul of 1930s Harlem lives on in this rollicking, swinging, finger-snapping revue that is considered one of Broadway’ s best. The inimitable Thomas "Fats" Waller rose to international fame during the Golden Age of the Cotton Club, honky tonk dives along Lenox Avenue, rent parties, stride piano players and that jumpin’ new beat, Swing. Although not quite a biography, "Ain’t Misbehavin&# 146;" evokes the delightful humor, the racial undertones and infectious energy of this American original. Assembled under the expert eye of director/lyricist Richard Maltby, Jr., "Ain’t Misbehavin&# 146;" is one of the most popular, well-crafted revues of all time – sometimes sassy, sometimes sultry, with moments of devastating beauty. This production will be staged by MSW’s Artistic Director, Kurt Stamm and directed by Tony Award Winner, Richard Maltby, Jr., the original director of AIN’T MISBEHAVIN&# 146; on Broadway.
Seeking 5 principal African American singer/actors (3 women, 2 men). Must be mature, funny, warm and able to connect with the audience on a very personal level. Must also be able to move extremely well. (30-45) This is an ensemble show and we are open to all types.
Please prepare 2 songs in the style of the show, one up-tempo and one ballad (you may only get to sing one). It is OK to sing from the show if you’re interested in a particular character. A dance call and callbacks will be later in the week.
ROLES:
KEN must be an excellent vocalist and part singer (baritone/bass) with excellent comic timing. A big, loveable teddy bear.
ANDRE must be an excellent vocalist and part singer (tenor) who is an excellent dancer with great comic timing. Must be suave, smooth, sexy and stylish.
ARMELIA must be an excellent vocalist and part singer (belter w/high mix) who moves extremely well and has excellent comic timing. Sophisticated, cultured.
NELL must be an excellent vocalist and part singer (high belter w/high mix) who moves extremely well and has excellent comic timing. A comic with attitude.
CHARLENE must be an excellent vocalist and part singer (belter w/high mix) who moves extremely well and has excellent comic timing. Must be able to portray a wacky, slightly bubble headed persona.

NEW ACCOLADES:
Jagger,
Where do I even begin, thanks just doesn't even cut it anymore. You have given me an immense amount of self confidence in my ability to pursue my dream and a swift kick in the pants when I felt like quitting. I finally feel like I am able to take on the show biz world and that is thanks to you. Your classes have taught me the necessity of connecting with a character in order portray them truthfully and without "acting." The energy level you are able to give to your students every class proves that you are a teacher who actually enjoys what they do and who wants to see his students succeed. You should be very proud of the work you do on and off the screen, cause I know I am.
Amber Alvarado
Jagger, I don't know how to thank you for being such an amazing friend. You have always gone out of your way to support and encourage me as an actor, even when I had my own doubts. You have never hesitated to share your advice, and have always been there to lend an ear when I needed it. I can honestly say you are one of the most hard working, honest, and giving actors/teachers/directors that I know. You never hesitate to give actors advice, especially beginning actors. I learned so much from you about teamwork, breaking down a character, and performing. You love nothing more then to see your fellow actors succeed, and you do everything you can to nurture and encourage them. I feel lucky to be your friend, and I am so proud of your success !!!
Julie Rose Wallach
www.JulieRoseWallach.com
Jagger,
I was really impressed by your class today. I've kind of been bragging about it all night! I just re-entered the legit world this fall, and of all the workshops I've taken, I learned the most from yours. I am soooo sold on your classes and excited to be in your Comedic Acting Class now!
You are a sweet, endearing and supportive acting coach who will fight for talent to discover new levels of their character.
Thanks again!
Jewel Elizabeth
Jagger,
What can I say.....I've taken several of your classes and each time I learn something new and worthwhile. Your most recent Comedic Class did wonders for me. You taught me how to 'act' by not acting and to be myself so that my natural talent and personality shine through. Because of your unique teaching, I've been called for more auditions and have had call-backs. I'm now waiting to hear if I got a role in a new Indie film. Thank you Jagger for being there for me, you're the best. You can count on me to take more of your classes and spread the word about you to my friends in the acting community.

long, and copies will be provided (although transfers may take some time).
3 characters:
2 FEMALES
1 MALE

at around 2pm. The shoot will last around 2 hours.
A small meeting/rehearsal may be held Wednesday night, if possible.
