SEATTLE THEATER IN NEED OF MALE VOLUNTEER PERFORMERS FOR LATE JANUARY PRODUCTION
On the Boards is excited to offer a unique opportunity to work alongside an international company and their director, Romeo Castellucci, who is currently one of the foremost creative forces in Europe.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Performed by 2 stunning actresses, a Hey girl! portrays a "portrait of a human heart," rather than pigeon-holing women in specific roles. The carefully sculpted production draws on iconic images and gestures from women such as Catherine the Great, Coco Chanel, Joan of Arc and Shakespeare'
For about 15 minutes, approximately 40 men will be sharing the stage with the 2 actresses. During this time they perform a series of simple actions (e.g. swinging a pillow). More specific directions are given out at a dress rehearsal.
INFORMATION FOR THE EXTRAS
Requirements
The only requirements to participate as an extra in this production are that you should be male, over the age of 18 and able to attend all of the rehearsals and performances listed below.
Time Commitment
Extras will need to be present at a dress rehearsal and all 4 performances. The tentative schedule is as follows:

Thu, Jan 31 Performance 6:30 - 10pm
Fri, Feb 1 Performance 7 - 10pm
Sat, Feb 2 Performance 7 - 10pm
Sun, Feb 3 Performance 7 - 10pm
Compensation
Participants will receive 2 complimentary tickets to a performance happening in OtB's 07/08 season (for a list of remaining shows, see ontheboards.

ABOUT SOCÌETAS RAFFAELLO SANZIO
Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio is an Italian theater company that has become world renowned for their provocative and controversial productions. Their director, Romeo Castellucci, is one of the foremost creative forces in Europe right now and the performances he crafts alongside his wife and sister have become the stuff of legend wherever they are produced. The company has produced works ranging from the classics of Western theater to foundational texts like the biblical Genesis.
Their performance is presented as part of OtB's New Performance Series, a series which brings national and international contemporary artists in theater, dance and music to our theater in lower Queen Anne. Hey Girl! will be performed in OtB's 300 seat Merrill Wright Mainstage Theater.
